To some extent I agree with production of green hydrogen in Australia and Saudi and all other countries that have an abundance of sunlight.

However countries that do have plenty of sun tend to be the ones with lack of water unless its through desalination plants which then bumps the price up. Wind and perhaps tidal energy tend to be in countries that have plenty of fresh water like the UK for instance.

Just needs a government that has the balls to invest in renewable electricity to get the price down to a level where green hydrogen can be produced cheaply.

Like all new products the initial costs are mainly development costs electrolysers will come down in price the more they get used.
