MUMBAI : Haryana-based green hydrogen company Hygenco has received a GBP 22-million investment from the SBICAP Ventures managed Neev II Fund.

The company aims to deploy over $300 million in green hydrogen projects across India in the next three years and the investment will provide the necessary capital to Hygenco for commercialising the early pipeline, a statement from SBICAP Ventures said.

The investment was announced by UK foreign secretary James Cleverly during his two-day visit to the country. Ahead of his visit, the British government had announced that the UK-backed Neev is taking a USD 22-million bet to help India's green energy transition.

I just cancelled my Premium contribution to ADVFN and told them they are useless for allowing fraud to go on on their site and fail to fulfill their obligations . You will have to scroll on, never mind the accuracy of expressing how most of us feel on this and Gimme threads

Obviously no back handers for the government from turbine companies even though it makes sense to us lol

Germany are even more desperate than the UK for any type of energy at the moment. There will be lots of power cuts there imo.

There is also the cost advantage of not having to clean up a decommissioned nuclear site.

Wind turbines are relatively easy - you just demolish the old one and replace it with a newer (and more efficient) model. Happening already in some of teh early sites in the south of Scotland.

Of course there is the German approach where you demolish the wind farm and dig a coal mine.
