I'd suggest, some, myself included, post here because they happen to be invested, and I would suggest see it also as a hobby, with the happy outcome of keeping track of their investment. Many would be selling and buying but not declaring it, being under the limit.

Well, as you say, it is only our opinions.

And as i say, our opinions are pretty much worthless

Buffet sold airlines because their prospects bleakened, almost immediately after purchasing, which is odd considering one would expect he would be in the know about geopolitical skullduggery, I would've thought - but ITM's prospects have only gotten better in my humble opinion.

SP aside.

Hurricane, i remember you posting about that Sasol - Linde project some time back - it is Linde repurposing an existing electrolyser (which will 'hopefully' lead to a lot more electrolysis, through ILE, I believe.)

Absolutely

But the thing is, those in the game a long time, know this. Yet i see some here with 10 and 20 year profiles, basically leading others to the pitfalls that they know are right there

odd

True, let them. No need to keep naging on about it, to save others - lesson are best learned through mistakes - the more crushing, the more a strong person learns.

Well, ignorance paying well so far lol. Maybe the ignorance is the bulls making assumptions that market does not share?

Im no master of market. None of us are. Tis i why i tend to listen to it rather than think im better than it or smarter

I did think it once and the lesson was crushing to say the least haha

I fear, that small bit of ignorance is why you might get burnt. There is definitely at least 'some' value to their company, ILE. They have plants in operation.

Unless it is fake?

Linde more likely looking to either tap a cash reserve and/or shut itm down. I see no value for linde in an itm partnership. At best, track ITM plans and paths

I'm talking strategic partnerships; Linde + ITM = ILE.

Sorry, Linde bought at 40p.

So, what when it goes below 40, towards zero as you might suggest?

What about the lot that invested for capcity expansion at a price much higher than today?

My view on others holdings in this instance, you would find a little bit warped. Suffice to say, share price doing as one would expect

I wouldnt care if JPM and Citi bought ITM tomorrow, if i was working out that they are not doing it for bullish interests

I dont need them. Pro shorters do. But they slow down my return. Its why you will find imostly short stocks where they are not

Just help me, and others to understand your take on Linde, JCB and Snam, and the shares they hold - what is your input here, genuinely.

Also ponder this fact

Pro shorters are doing me no favours. Know why?

I take your latter points - and I mainly agree with them.

but you need buyers too, so let them buy.

Wouldn't like to put a bet on which friday, but we can clearly see it on the horizon.

Good luck (not sarcasm).

No my friend. This is where you make error

You assume a short is short term

Bud, Ive seen shorters hold positions, longer than Buffet

Can't see why you won't be right short-term, can't see why I will be wrong long-term - I have literally bet on it, and so have you.

Well, i never really ponder why, i just watch and wait the dye

Dont get too wrapped up in reasoning things out. More often than not, there wont even be reasoning after it all lol

Who really knows anyway? Maybe this sector truly goes rampant in 5 years?

But my point is simple . When something is a sell or short, it is simply not time to buy. Because most times when people are in early, the big multibag rise is from a price, that makes it at best, breakeven for them down the road
