Huge thanks Glenman - your efforts are more than hugely appreciated!!!! I have always nothing back from this - that is where my expectation still lies. But I am interested to know what can be done - and will provide my details as requested...

I will be in touch very, very shortly...many thanks again...

I am back from my break and would like to thank everyone for the messages of support. I have decided to take this further and would like to get as much support as possible to try to get 2 directors on to the board (myself and A N Other) to see what can be done to relist the company, specifically with the existing shareholders interests in mind. I have set up an email – ivesharegroup@gmail.com – and ask any shareholders who wish to support me to let me have your name, email address and share holding and I will see if we can get sufficient support to approach the company – I may need some more details at a later stage but for now this should be sufficient. Also please spread the word! Do bear in mind that the company may already be a lost cause but I am prepared to have a go and see what can be achieved but please keep the expectation level to a minimum.

Glenman, any update? I posted your information over on LSE (I hope you don't mind!) and riddler asked me to pass on his appreciation - in his words:

not invested in IVE but what a great guy to offer to do this, its up to us P.Is to keep things above board, and please pass on my admiration and support

...or suggest Irvine to Empire?...

Maybe we could suggest the BoD look at Empire Oil and Gas (USOTC:EEGC) in which TXO have a major holding. They are looking for an AIM listing via a shell!

Empire intends to secure a corporate shell vehicle, listed publicly on the AIM market, to support development of the FASER technology which was described in a June 2, 2011 announcement. Exceptional progress has been made toward the resolution of infrastructure and proprietary technical issues in the development of the FASER technology over the past six months and the primary FASER power supply is now ready for mass production

Izzy, thanks for your reply. I was puzzled by people saying IVE could relist when they were delisted because I saw delisting as similar to handing in your keys and never looking back, whereas delisting is actually more similar to inactivity. A bit like when you have a driving license and haven't driven for decades (like me) - you don't have to retake your license but you would need to spend a bit to get yourself up to speed again. Whereas if you have a suspended license (like going into suspension), it is easier to get back on the road if you use the license as soon as suspension is over. LOL, the analogy makes sense to me anyway.

IVE was one of the first shares I ever invested in, so it's been a good learning experience (may as well try and find something positive!). All of us are a bit longer in the tooth now.

Madchick; I'm not completely too clued up with these things, but once a company is delisted, it can relist, once certain criteria are met, house is put in order etc. It can relist all its shares on the respective exchange. I'm not sure what costs are involved, but its not the same as an initial listing, which we know as an IPO [ Initial Public Offering ].

IVE is still in existience and hasn't lost it right to relist. Another company could come along and 'reverse' into the 'investment shell' that IVE is looking to be for someone - in the process, the the company undertakign the reverse takeover is likely to change the name of the company. One of the lures, as others have helpfully pointed out, for another company is that IVE offers certain tax benefits / opportunities, making it a useful target in the right market...

The directors clear observe there is value here, hence why they've not wound the company up. But there is little transparency, and with no-one clearly designated as the person responsible for steering this company to some sort of acceptable outcome, and no-one clearly answerable to shareholders, we'll remain in the dark for a good time yet...

Glenman's efforts have been remarkable and has my support - i'm most others' too...

Only just noticed that this board is alive! Glenman, I can't thank you enough. Good luck with your further endeavours. I'm sure you have all PIs behind you on this.

Comment to anyone: I thought the company was delisted and so it doesn't have a listing to be worth anything to anyone?

Thanks for the comments - I am aware one needs 10% of shares for general meeting but obviously a lot more to be appointed a director. I am going to follow up on one or two avenues see what can be done but am away next week. I will communicate further after next week and thanks again for your support.

Glenman
If enough shareholders support you is it not possible to call an EGM and get you appointed? I think it is 10% of the voting rights to call the EGM.
It might be that if enough show support you are able to point this out to the BOD thereby saving having to call an EGM

Glenman, thanks from me too. Is there anything we holders can assist with?

I'd happily donate a % of anything I got back to assist with any expenses you accrue on your mission.

And me Glenman but if nothing happens by end of tax year I'll have to think about claiming the loss. Thankfully I'm not losing nearly as much as some other posters

The Directors should be asked to formally acknowlege the offer of help by Glenman on behalf of shareholders and advise us if they are prepared to accept it or if not to state genuine reasons why not. This gives them an opportunity to make comment to shareholders on progress/state of play and prove they have shareholders interests at heart.
