For those that are interested Irvine filed its accounts for the year ended December 2009 with Companies House on 12th January 2011.

The accounts and annual Report will be presented to shareholders at the AGM, although there is no date set for this in the document.

The accounts show assets of £9K, with liabilities of £100K. The company remains a going concern as creditors are supportive. The directors accept however that the company needs to raise further cash. They are confident of doing so. The company will be an investment shell investing in the energy industry. It looks like there will be a fund raising and share consolidation.

The company has accumulated losses of nearly £18M which are worth £5M in tax benefits.

Presumably it is that tax benefit of £5M and the Aim trading history which makes Irvine worth "something".

1.037Bn shares in issue.
