warner got back to an email i sent

They are considering winding up or relisting on the plus market and re-capitalising on plus, the preferred option apparently but waiting for better market conditions to assess if they can raise capital, whether vendors would touch it due to history, final decision to be made if conditions get better to ensure success..all email he got back to me quick

I personally think Xena's done enough by giving us his perspective and findings on here..."nominating" him to do further work is a bit unfair IMO....

Xena, you should call a shareholders meeting and if we get a majority collective - take over the existing situation of the company ?? It is ours after all !

Personally I think a tiny share of something, with the chance of future growth isbetter than nothing. This company is still showing up as "alive" in my barx system .Cant deal of course but where there`s life there is hope. Thanks Zena for your well informed views and research.

Hello again Xena,

I think a reverse into IVE and change the name could be on the cards as there is a financial advantage in the tax losses and indeed the cost of going through a float. However we would all be diluted in the shareholding depending on what the % of crumbs they would be prepared to offer us. I would like to see an announcement shortly as would the majority but I feel that someone out there believes it worthwile to keep us alive although in a vegative state so who knows ??? Maybe just maybe.

we perhaps need to get together and draft a letter to whoever and find out their intentions?

Hi Xena, many thanks for your very thorough research. It seems to me that we
should all get together and get you elected to the Board and get the company up and going again. Thanks again.

It's simple paulie. I subscribe to Companies House (it costs nothing to do that) and I choose different companies I'm interested in. As soon as the company files any kind of document, Companies House sends me an email and I pay the grand sum of £1.00 (LOL!) to access the document.

That's how I knew Rob Bensh had not resigned, at least not formally, a company director may resign verbally but until it's actually registered at Companies House, it doesn't count. I researched the rules rigorously and in some countries it's actually illegal not to file a company directors resignation.

I can't quite believe my post frightened city lawyers into acting, but I don't believe in coincidences either.

Here is the link to the announcement, it's called "Webcheck" if you go to the Companies House home page, it will give instructions to subscribe and step by step instructions on how to select specific companies.

As for time frames, I could not even hazard a guess.

My investment in Irvine is very small. My interest only came about because of directors past history and the location of the drilling activities in Oklahoma; therefore, it won't make much difference to me if Irvine came back or not. However, I will keep a close eye on Companies House emails and update you when any new news appears.

Well Paulie18, believe it or not - you're in luck!

Irvine filed accounts for the year ended December 2010 in early July. The accounts are dated 22nd June 2011 - so Irvine appear to have actually filed a document within the time limit allowed.

They reveal nothing that is earth shattering.

They've got £1K cash assets and had losses of £26K (although the blurb says £21K - a bit sloppy). They owe just over £100K, some of it to the Directors and as creditors are supportive, means they are a going concern.

The Directors say that they intend to raise capital to evaluate new investment opportunities.

Rob Bensh resigned on 22nd March, and this was registered on 1st June.

Interesting that - my earlier post mentioning Gastek/GTK/Irvine/KubGas (that would potentially be a nice investment opportunity), and questioning whether he had resigned was posted late on 29th May; so good to know that his lawyers were on the case and got the formal notice filed electronically within a couple of days of my post.

You never know - maybe I was getting close to the truth.

At least Irvine would be in good company, as BHP is investing billions buying US shale gas interests.

What do you think Medved5?
