17/11/2023 22:35 | Went through as two 5.5m sell trades at open market at 9am ish on my ii account. At the end of the day LT the share price will look after itself | crosswires
17/11/2023 21:59 | I was thinking they were the reverse trades for the 10M stock Canaccord bought but that was at much lower prices. Maybe they are actually buys and another larger trade is due? Unless another director has snapped up shares? Invesco when selling used rounded numbers before. Where Canaccord like to fill to large sell orders. I can see Canaccord building a large stake here maybe 15-20%.They seem very happy to buy at 20p. Have they got it right this time? They have made a lot of bad calls on IQE so far but it's reassuring they are backing the share so heavily. Plus the CEO too. | guildedge
17/11/2023 17:41 | 11m sell this morning before 10.00am, but a welcome week. | crosswires
15/11/2023 16:43 | VisIC already releasing D3GaN components on to the market. As per the last press release, IQE have a "strategic collaboration" with VisIC. Whether IQE wafers will already be included in these parts remains to be seen, but at least it demonstrates another IQE client actively pushing GaN parts to market. | provonar
12/11/2023 17:23 | alotto Both Tesla & Apple have/are showcasing their GAN chargers this year. For instance in Tesla’s case, the electric car range is increased by 15%. The Chinese are also chasing this new technology in part by being excluded from the AI chip. AL can see all these changes taking place & that is why he is ‘walking the talk’ with IQE share purchases. It could well be that with this new technology IQE are actually going to be in the right place at the right time for a change. 5g base stations also depend on the use of GAN. Anyone who buys into IQE at these low share price levels could well be laughing in five years time. The downside to all this will be the need to raise more money by a rights issue. That won’t be done until this share is much higher so don’t panic ! | picobird
12/11/2023 16:07 | Timepoint 0:53 How does the CEO know that IQE has one of the best technologies? Big Silicon based chip manufacturers are not sitting on their hands, they must be doing their R&D to keep up with the advancing technology. I don't think they would patent all their technologies. | alotto
12/11/2023 15:35 | This video is quite interesting. Watch from 8:53. | alotto
12/11/2023 14:17 | If IQE have groundbreaking technologies in compound semiconductors, and if there is demand for it, why don't we see it reflected in the IQE orderbooks? IQE has operated at a loss from 2019, meanwhile semiconductor manufacturers of the likes of NVIDA and Taiwan Semiconductors have seen significant growth, with cheaper silicon based semiconductors. I am afraid that the IQE projected 3x revenue and 30% EBITDA margins by 2027 (I don't like EBITDA in this case as the 'DA' can be a significant figure, which I cannot estimate, at least for now) are pies in the sky. Whoever invested in 2018 is now been told to wait t ill 2027, a total of 9 years, to see significant profitability. That's too long of a wait. | alotto
10/11/2023 13:40 | Good read, thanks. Reminds me of Dustin Hoffman in The graduate, standing there besides the swimming pool, speaking to a CEO, holding a Visa card in right hand, saying to him. “Plastic this is the future “ 1967!! | 46maxon
10/11/2023 13:18 | The next few years is all about GAN for IQE as far as turnaround goes. Lemos is essentially betting heavily on being right | crosswires
10/11/2023 12:31 | 46 maxon IQE among other products (see website) supply GAN wafers. As China is being blocked from buying AI chips, GAN is their only hope. | picobird
10/11/2023 12:26 | Was his buy linked to the takeover news of the Welsh Newport site? If that new firm seeks a partnership with IQE that will make a lot of sense and could make Wales a production hub. | guildedge
10/11/2023 11:50 | infinitesimally 1. : immeasurably or incalculably small. an infinitesimal difference. 2. : taking on values arbitrarily close to but greater than zero.12 Sept 2023 Merriam-Webster hxxps://www.merriam- Infinitesimal Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster | willoicc
10/11/2023 11:44 | They say world leading!! | 46maxon
10/11/2023 11:43 | What exactly are the products which they supply. Reading about the EV market ( Bloomberg// prediction's of £50 trillion 2035, would this product go into most vehicles, and no doubt many other products. What I’m I missing. | 46maxon
10/11/2023 11:32 | NWF employees are now assured of a healthy future with Vishay. Their MOSFET’s on SIC are predicted to more than double in demand over the next seven years. AL comes across as a genuine guy & is the last hope for us Long Termer’s. A few more contract/ partnerships wins before Xmas would be more than welcome. If he can also get the share price up to analyst levels of 50-60p by Springtime that would also not go amiss. | picobird
10/11/2023 10:46 | I think given share price if directors were not buying I would be asking why not? Why not more to follow? This likely rules out a Nov/Dec trading update. If they did one now people would raise a few eyebrows given the directors buy. So i expect Jan closing statement. They have got to stop doing TU each 2 months. It's the sign of a poorly performing company. When you are doing well you quietly get on with it and ignore the market. | guildedge
10/11/2023 10:34 | sweenoid - Americo's purchase is certainly a significant sum. Indeed, infinitesimally more than his useless ex-CFO ever committed to. Whilst what you say is true, to highlight Americo's "incredibly poor" financial background is totally irrelevant IMHO. He's a very wealthy man these days and his share purchase should be measured against his current wealth. Not his modest means when growing up. Still, kudos to him for continuing to send out a strong signal that he has some faith in IQE's future. I increasingly think Pullen was booted out for his long-standing refusal to follow Lemos's lead. | lord loads of lolly
10/11/2023 08:32 | Certainly makes me feel better long term about all the stock I bought. I haven’t been posting much because I believe this is a buy and tuck away time, could be a couple of years until we see the share price get back to the 60p + levels. Until some news… I’d add that it’s interesting to see just how far analysts expect earnings to fall through 2025, makes me wonder where such savage predictions come from, and I would imagine they won’t be hard to exceed going forward… | crosswires
10/11/2023 07:46 | Three cheers for a CEO who is showing supreme confidence in ‘his’ company. This additional purchase is significant in monetary terms and not just a gesture. We know from The Times article that this man comes from incredibly poor ( financially) background and that’s worth thinking about. ✅✅ S | sweenoid
10/11/2023 07:32 | Yes indeed. £234K is a sizeable amount to spend. Must be very confident | bocase
10/11/2023 07:29 | Americo bought circa 1.3m shares. Certainly putting money where his mouth is! | hutchmeister
09/11/2023 16:22 | crosswires - same here (only I'll be wanting at least £1 a share - just for all the PTSD). | lord loads of lolly |
