13/9/2018 10:13 | As 5G becomes reality. | fuji99
13/9/2018 10:06 | Cheers poombear - Interesting to note that the biggest are Samsung and Huawei with market share between them of almost 37%. then you have the likes of Xiaomi growing strongly at 81.9%. So as usual, China is powering ahead. IMO IQE will end up taken over by a Chinese company as did IMG. | fuji99
13/9/2018 10:04 | Buy order in for 76 to have a nibble and average down if it gets there, otherwise will just sit tight with what I have. | tini5
13/9/2018 10:01 | Wasn't eps down fifty percent at the half way stage ?Is this the reason for the fall from grace ?Sicknote | s34icknote
13/9/2018 09:59 | Fuji thanks for the BBC article. Interesting to see that Apple only hold 12% of the market. As we know IQE have been qualifying with the much bigger Android market, which has already started introducing 3D sensors in their phones. | poombear
13/9/2018 09:53 | Hats off the Sheep Herder, never saw it coming to 80p. Time to load up | tomduck
13/9/2018 09:50 | ipavlou: > The new tools are on a 12 month payback For clarity, it is 6-12 months set-up then 12 months payback. Bocase: Yes, I believe it is common for directors to (edit..be required to) have certain size holding. I assume for longer standing officers, shares aqcuired through LTIP would count towards that quota.Don't know if that applies to IQE though, as I don't recall any substantial BOD holders other than Drew.. but memory aint what it used to be. ;-) Some new BOD staff get welcome payment - no reason why this shouldn't equate to a required holding and be part of offer of place. | dr_smith
13/9/2018 09:47 | Luckily I bailed out ignoring Sweenoids posts of great things to come having seen similar thing happen at Imagination Technology. Best not to fall in love with a stock. | amt
13/9/2018 09:46 | looks like an early than usual push for sub 80p - if we break this can any of the chartists predict possible support levels? | scrawny dawny
13/9/2018 09:44 | Any impact of Apple news on IQE ? | fuji99
13/9/2018 09:43 | How low can this go? Products and Tech look good. Why all the short interest? | ballingarry72
13/9/2018 09:40 | I agree with you - seems to be a concerted effort to sell out of good news. The story today should be all about the fantastic news about the Apple phones and their lower cost x r. All now have Face ID and the analyst forecast for earnings will be outdated and need to increase. This will make Iqe very undervalued with a pe of less than 17 and a peg on the floor. | boboty
13/9/2018 09:40 | crunk is short, good buy signal | davemac3
13/9/2018 09:36 | PS and do yourselves a favour and filter out the fools like Crunk, I haven't read anything he said in months but I can tell some of you are annoyed by it all, the filter is a simple solution, you won;t miss anything. | richardc77
13/9/2018 09:35 | Let me help you guys under stand. Drew Nelson and his board do not give a flying continental. Once you understand that everything will become clear | thecrunk
13/9/2018 09:33 | Yep, unbelievable bargain, but that's how the market works, these things go in trends, next year we will have forgotten and unless you need the money now, it's just paper share price falls. I agree that IQE could be a little more proactive with their marketing, but they never have been and ain't gonna change now. | richardc77
13/9/2018 09:29 | Crazy. With all the analysts forecasting 4.5p-4.7p EPS or so next year, IQE is now on a P/E of only around 17. Even if this may be low considering all the forecast growth in its core photonics and wireless divisions, this leaves nothing for cREO, GaN, NanoImprint Lithography (NIL) etc. And the P/E reduces even further if you strip out the £41m cash pile. | rivaldo
13/9/2018 09:26 | I've had a nibble here - gone too low now for such a high growth company with a great outlook | markycrispy
13/9/2018 09:22 | Keep the faith !! | dickiebird2
13/9/2018 09:19 | can't be much left in this for the shorts | davemac3
13/9/2018 09:17 | Put a call into a very rich Arab with 100m plus burning a hole in his pocket, he will wipe the smile of these fekkers .......... ;-) | squire007
13/9/2018 09:15 | P.S I think IQE will do well but not until the shorting squad have left the building. | ratpat999
13/9/2018 09:12 | Is this then a smart strategy for shorters to buy back and reduce their positions without pushing the share price up until they are out? Maybe if the pattern is repeated and reported shorted shares reduces the turnaround will eventually come? | kileleni
13/9/2018 09:07 | Yes I can afford it now £200,000 profit lol do research get down the AGM and make some serious money next year with VRS guys IMHO PS I ONLY GOT OUT AND INTO VRS BECAUSE I SAW IT ON THIS BOARD !!!! | ratpat999 |
