Hi Stavros, IPO future completely unpredictable IMHO but if Oppenheimer were prepared to buy a few so am I.

Also if the government were to suddenly remember that they can only grow the economy and the tax take by encouraging new enterprise, scientific and technological development there could be an unexpected spike upside:-)

Stavros - nothing wrong with IPO mate - all my indicators show IPO to be very strong and I'm still firmly in and waiting for the next lift.

Peter and Praipus we meet again my software signal has brought me to this stock.
Buy signal on IPO wants to go higher but a short term consolidation signal is holding it back.
Will post a chart soon.

There seems to be a determination to keep this sub 150p at present but I feel it will move quickly when it breaks out. Topped up earlier in the week.

another good report from tracis, up 14% today. its becoming more and more apparent that IPO have an amazing eye for picking fledgling companies that have the capability to perform like their recent sale co proximagen at 35x their investment.

Thanks, Peter. Seen your contribution on PIC. You might also want to look at CAD over the next couple of weeks, on a chart basis. Ok, enough OT - sorry!

Brucie5 - if you are asking me whether I would personally buy into IPO at the moment, the answer is no, for the same reasons as your doubts. But I already hold and will stay in pending any progress reversal. I think this is an excellent coy, full of potential gems, and one to follow closely. But for now I want see whether share price can break upwards or not. If it does I may buy again. Time will tell. PIM

Thanks Peter, not familar with these as charting tools- 'williams %R, OBV and ROC' . Could you explain? there used to be a good mechanical investors thread on the motleyfool, which had a monthly recommendation of RS stocks, and some posters seemed to do well. It certainly supplied a good updated universe of rising shares to look at.

Would you care to share your main momentum ideas, either here on on another board? In the meantime you might be interested to look at PIC, to see how it conforms to your metrics.

Reason I asked about IPO is that it's come very far very fast, and I'm wary of buying spikes. As you know, 150 is the level it achieved 5 years ago. However incubators can behave like oil stocks.. just depends what they find, and if they've got a good record of finding.. I'm continue to watch.

I have no interest at all in the business model, the BoD, annual reports, or even the products supplied

Peter, this share reminds me of the old dotcomers like DUC and NMS, not to mention the grand old survivor, BGC. It's risen from the ashes, and since it's business model seems to be incubating new hi tech businesses, I guess it's difficult to see where it might be headed. What's you take, apart from the chart?

Tantalising stuff.

Buying volume (OBV) still close to neutral but SP, 10sma, 50sma all rising strongly and relative strength is well into overbought (williams %R).

One of the few holdings in my portfolio actually making headway this week.

Looking very promising.

Close to breakout now.

Will we make it before those idiots in europe dish up another dose of market crippling news.
