Large trades at 98p have evidently cleared a seller, should hit new highs now.

In September last year, the Wall Street Journal reported that the managed hosting specialist was up for sale, but claimed that the price tag of $1 billion was an undervaluation - especially as the company enjoys a new domain name registration market share of more than 50 per cent.

The rapid rise in value of GoDaddy is not unique, however. Managed hosting specialist iomart, which recently won the Scottish Digital Company of the Year accolade at the ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards, has seen its earnings increase by 618 per cent.

Managed hosting firm GoDaddy could be snapped up by investors

Go Daddy in $2bn-plus buy-out talks

maybe iomart should take a leaf out of Big Daddy's book and do the same in the English FA Cup final :)

quiet BBs are the best, i think we would of held are gains today if it had not been for the poor start on the DOW which recovered later in the day, it seems like UK traders panick more than USA traders. UK traders are acting like its the end of the world, they should wake up and smell the coffee on good stocks

Indeed IOM is on my radar, has been for sometime. Will nicely compliment the unfolding success story at Endace (EDA) both in the right place at the right time. Consider both to be near-term acquisition targets, irrespective of market conditions they will go for multiples of historic sales 5x or maybe as much as 8x. The migration to the Cloud will continue to accelerate over the next 2-3 years as both private and public sector entities seek efficiencies from this shared-infrastructure/virtualized/managed service. Best, K

It's unfortunate that IOM's recent good news has been released into a depressed market. Nevertheless, it must surely be creeping on to the radar of many.

divinausal, top 25 globally, IOM must be doing something right. Not long now before it is above £100m mkt cap and additional institutional funds managers start to accumulate.
