04/10/2010 17:19 | wj, why does it take so long to build capacity? | yoyoy
04/10/2010 17:09 | Yes nice and strong finish after some profit taking earlier on...long way to go imo.. | nurdin
04/10/2010 16:49 | Well ...... That was another good day! News of more contracts should add momentum! | wh1spa
04/10/2010 10:43 | Iomart is obviously pursuing a policy of quality and not quantity and there is no reason, on fundamentals, why the share price should not even out at around 120 until the next round. | picasso2
03/10/2010 22:37 | The difference is that Iomart is not rushing to fill their capacity with low value rack space. As I ubderstand it they are still well below 35% capacity utilisation so that there is lots off spare capacity to be filled with high value contracts. | farhorizons
03/10/2010 22:34 | Possibly though building new capacity takes 2-3 years and they haven't announced any yet. I guess I'm not sure how best to value them. As you say, the PEG is low but if they don't build/acquire new space (and I'm not sure they can afford to in a big way), then a PE of 12 is where it should settle as a hosting company. I'm also not sure if any of the big boys would be interested in their data centres as they're pretty small in the scheme of things. Telecity's new london data centre is bigger than all of IOM's 5 centres put together. | wjccghcc
03/10/2010 22:09 | Never said they are in the same league WJC....was merely comparing their respective PEGs IOM dont plan to stand still either...new capacity will either be built or acquired, the latter being the most probable route.Worth keeping an eye on them if you are not already.... | nurdin
03/10/2010 21:49 | Not sure they're in the same league as TCY, nurdin. TCY has 12x as much space and are opening space equal to the total IOM space (4850m2) every year. AFAIK IOM are not building any new space so while earnings will grow rapidly for the next couple of years, they'll start levelling off pretty quickly once the space fills up. | wjccghcc
03/10/2010 12:46 | Nasstar would fit nicely into Iomarts portfolio of companies. Certainly a nice Bolt On to any hosting packages they are offering! | wh1spa
03/10/2010 09:08 | Anybody else in here, in NASA??? TIA | vivgav
03/10/2010 09:06 | Thanks for that vigav..shows that the market for cloud computing is gathering momentum and is likely to show explosive growth over the coming years. Many punters are probably put off by Iomarts high PE at the current price but probably ignore the fact that their earnings are set to grow by over 136% this year and ,on current brokers forecasts, another 53% the following year. That gives an average PEG of 0.33 which make IOM very cheap compared to say, its bigger brethern TCY ,who are on a PEG of 1.24.At that growth rate IOMs PE is likely to come down rapidly and will drop to single digit figures within a few years time. The fall could be even faster if they make earning enhancing acquisitions along the way;this should come as early as this year imhmo as already hinted by the company. Best to get in at the ground level and become part of what appears to be a great growth story going forward imo...:o) | nurdin
01/10/2010 16:27 | what a great finish...watch out for decent press comments :o) | nurdin

01/10/2010 07:45 | Morning Nurdin. Should be a good day for IOM | yoyoy
01/10/2010 07:44 | Well done Iomart - with a hint of an acquisition in the pipeline perhaps. The recent share price surge seems to be fully justified. | farhorizons
01/10/2010 07:30 | A cracking trading update: You beat me to it ..:o) | nurdin |
