17/9/2023 19:48 | It was not such a bad description of the current situation if you think of the BoD drawing salaries for as long as possible! However administration followed by a fire sale of the assets if anyone wants them is surely the most likely scenario now imho, unless at this level any tax losses prove to be attractive to another NS O&G company, but then they would have to take on the debt as well and I'm purely speculating there. | bountyhunter
17/9/2023 18:45 | Hi bounty -apologies I have amended that post to absolute blinder, good spot. | yateska
17/9/2023 17:50 | "BOD playing a blinder" I wondered what was going on. | bountyhunter
17/9/2023 17:33 | There's no point blaming "naked shorts", it's impossible to "naked short" in the UK. And there's hardly any short interest in IOG: The reality of the matter is that the fall in the share price has been caused by the bulls selling as they slowly capitulate and realise that IOG is a dog. (And margined investor like Robbie who have been forced, by margin calls, to sell their shares.) | jaknife
17/9/2023 17:21 | The naked shorts etc have played a blinder but if you now how the cards are stacked then not that clever really. Which one blinks first though and starts to close out…may go to .75 before back up quick to 2p. BOD playing a n absolute blinder. End game bond extended by 3 to 5 years but only £50 million rest paid by cash in Sept 2024 with a bit of equity to give the weasels the chance to close out…… | yateska
17/9/2023 16:45 | Sadly that has been the case for a while now, although admittedly I was slow to see and acknowledge that. Despite gas prices having been way above those modelled for IOG has still managed to descend on a downward spiral. A sobering lesson learnt for many of us here. No wonder the Thames pipeline was sold to IOG for a pound, with the benefit of hindsight. Imho, nai. | bountyhunter
17/9/2023 16:12 | A wipeout for IOG equity holders seems the most likely outcome now - sell/avoid | jaknife
15/9/2023 09:18 | What a shame - Oil looking to head off to $100 - | tomboyb
14/9/2023 13:15 | Seems like this goose is cooked. Only the brave and the foolish now.. | ripvanwinkle3
13/9/2023 14:52 | Jack knifeRobbie is sly as a foxHe has already sold prob over 2p but he kept up the pretence of holding and only today lied and said he got stopped out He is a liar | firestarter1
13/9/2023 13:49 | Robbie posted on the Telegram group this am that he had been "margin called": and then: "Got about 30k left from close to 300k" so he never actually had that much to begin with | jaknife
13/9/2023 13:22 | Guys robbie is out..... guess u lost the bean now chap....back to work on the rigs haha | wh123
13/9/2023 09:47 | Thanks bountyhunter. | bomfin
13/9/2023 09:43 | IOG has been worse than a "risky gamble" for a long time. When they told shareholders a couple of months ago that they were in default on the bond then it was a bang on run a mile. There is no sensible reason to be long of IOG shares whatsoever! | jaknife
13/9/2023 09:10 | Some like it rough , 0.5 looking good for short term fun. | jotoha2
13/9/2023 09:01 | Switched to PFC | blackhorse23
13/9/2023 08:50 | Codger buy this now as you have sold rcgh | firestarter1
13/9/2023 08:41 | Bomfin, if I remember correctly IOG bought the Thames pipeline for £1 so it is their's. Saleable? Maybe for tax losses but any purchaser would also acquire a very significant debt currently in default regarding repayments plus some troublesome developments. No interest has come to light to date. Most of us are out now but not soon enough! All imho fwiw nai! | bountyhunter
13/9/2023 08:40 | A risky gamble now | the codger
13/9/2023 08:36 | How can you invest in O&G without knowing such basic stuff? | scepticalinvestor
13/9/2023 08:36 | Penny stock in 3,2,1. . . . | scepticalinvestor
13/9/2023 08:32 | Robbie has been Marvin called.... | wh123
13/9/2023 08:31 | Amazing that April 2022 the share price was around 45p | yellowdog |
