12/6/2013 18:40 | Ansana, you need to inform your broker where your shares are held you want to attend the AGM and they will sort it out for you and send you documentation. | joeblogg2
12/6/2013 18:39 | "Resolution 6 Re-election of director, To re-elect Lance J. Baller as a director." "the resolution to re-elect him as a Director of the Group will be withdrawn from the agenda at the Annual General Meeting" RNS Number : 8686G | n3tleylucas
12/6/2013 18:38 | LOL so it is!!!!! sorry i missed that, was told it on the phone lol! apologies!! | matrixtrader
12/6/2013 18:36 | matrix: Co Sec appointment is in the RNS. | engelo
12/6/2013 18:36 | Cheers Matrixtrader. I know you don't post much, but you have been on the money every time. | diggulden
12/6/2013 18:32 | i believe you will find that a very experienced and capable individual will be appointed as company sec now Lance has gone and you should meet him next week. | matrixtrader
12/6/2013 18:30 | I wonder what happens to our AGM votes now, one of the resolutions being to vote for/against Lance as secretary. | che7win
12/6/2013 18:26 | It's a bit like saying teams are delighted when a key member of the opposition is crippled in a bad tackle. No, I don't think anyone who either wants to see the price lower, or thinks the stock is too high will celebrate the illness of the key manager. | n3tleylucas
12/6/2013 18:22 | "I suppose those who have been taking short positions will be over the moon at the news." That's a tad harsh. | n3tleylucas
12/6/2013 18:19 | good luck lance. | jointer13
12/6/2013 18:15 | Just seen the Lance news and must join the long list of well-wishers. That he will be at the AGM is a very positive aspect of the situation IMO. | hew
12/6/2013 18:11 | Just caught up with the day's news and post - must be a huge wrench for Lance and I just hope that he recovers well enough for him and his to enjoy the fruits of his labours. I am also in the camp of those that believe that the succession process has been ongoing for a while now. Unless I have missed something, nobody seems to have commented on the return of Stuart Eaton to his non-exec post next week. Does that indicate that the new CEO is all but appointed and will take over following the AGM? If so might that indicate an internal appointment? | rugrat2
12/6/2013 18:03 | I suppose those who have been taking short positions will be over the moon at the news. However, I believe that they have jumped the gun with the AGM and more news on IO3 soon due. Lance has built a team, he may or may not be on the board but the hard work has been completed and I am sure that a competitor or two will be looking at the share price and considering their opionns before the roll out gathers pace.In this day and age investors can take positions and be in and out very quickly. I await the AGM and look forward to a positive outcome and a quickly rising share price. | rogerbridge
12/6/2013 18:03 | Very sad to hear that Lance will not be coming back as CEO or in some other executive position. Copies of his quick and helpful responses to PI questions were often posted on this bb during my early days as an IOF investor in late 2012. Luckily for all of us longs, he managed to build a strong team to support the Company strategy and take the Company forward, taking it to the position of great strength we have today. IOF should not have too much difficulty in finding a worthy successor given its huge growth potential, thanks the hard work that Lance and his team have put in over recent years. | smilingmickey
12/6/2013 18:02 | Joe please explain register. Perhaps I need to do the same. | ansana
12/6/2013 17:57 | I will be coming to the AGM. My shares are in a nominee account. As usual, before attending I ask my broker to provide me with a letter stating that I have X shares and may attend. So I have received an appropriate letter from the Nominees. In addition, I have been asked to bring photo ID. Whether all this is strictly necessary, I don't know, but it should ensure I don't get turned away! | mikkydhu
12/6/2013 17:51 | Ansana, I have registered and I think they will know from the no. that register and those who turn upon the day are normally accomodated space permitting. | joeblogg2
12/6/2013 17:46 | Plas I am a tad concerned that some of us may be turned away if its all a bit casual, turn up and come on in. Look how many of us turned up at the PI presentation. SG is it worth indicating to the company approx how many PIs are likely to be there? | ansana
12/6/2013 17:21 | Monty I suspect the chart will soon look like the last one, another shake of some that were dithering anyway, then back to normal as 'events' restore confidence in quick time. | superg1
12/6/2013 17:20 | Words of wisdom from my good friend SCRUTABLE please. | n3tleylucas
12/6/2013 17:15 | Will there be a good turn out of Pte Investors at the AGM? | plasybryn
12/6/2013 17:14 | Seems a case of deju vu. Had the first Lance bad news just prior to results then had strong run post results. Will be interesting what happens post the AGM. I suspect the likes of Ennismore did most the selling today. Will have to watch the disclosure over next couple of days. Short Disclosure rules are stricter from this week. | monty panesar
12/6/2013 17:13 | Expect what you like, as many can imagine a lot has gone on in the background today and one main supply today has already gone. Stepping down from CEO is one thing, stopping work is another. That's what I like about Lance, he makes decisions and deals with those not performing, says no to a big oil services company. Decision making or lack of it can be the biggest failure or success of any company. They have picked up a few dynamic employee's so will no doubt find a Ceo of similar drive. Nice to have the business plan served on a plate, and what a team to help out the new arrival. | superg1
12/6/2013 17:12 | Also like to thank everyone for their constructive views regarding iof. Been in for while now and really appreciate most of the posts. Looking forward to the agm next week. | moomintu |
