It all seems very quiet on the CR front. With yesterdays rise, I wonder if the sensible discussions on here have convinced him to take a position in IOF - against his better judgement!

SCRUTABLE,

My dear, yes I hate the Poirot's w/o Hastings, Miss Lemon and Japp ... but I love Suchet, so we'll continue.

1) Explain the conflict of interest.

2) Explain the fundraising.

I will drink.

Could I, very respectfully, ask what has happened to the new BB that was going to be set up away from advfn...the one where we all had to register our interest. Could I please ask why that now seems to have taken a back seat...or has it been cancelled all together? Was just wondering.....
Thanks in advance for any response on this matter.

Sounds like a good idea battery maybe I could suggest one
of the defunct threads could be re invented as
The thread for updating share holdings this would then not
Clutter up main thread and make it easier to monitor pi,s
Updates without any being missed

Are you surprised serious hitters like CR make mincemeat out of you when batty is peddling total b/s like a pi total holding?

Erm, grow up.

Scrut. I noted your nano comment re 2 years behind iof in terms of transformation to significant revenue generation.

Having had a deeper look, including notes, and Dow's plans, that simple line is about spot on.

So imo I think it will drop back while the hype of Quantum dots settles the reality of building production facilities, timeframe to test, and mass production etc. etc

Good royalties yes, but offset by contributing to the cost of the set up for manufacturing and so on. I think 2016 for significant revenues to show, certainly one to watch.

Look Batty, you cannot audit pi's holdings UNLESS YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THIS;

Registrars

Iofina plc has appointed Capita as its registrars. They are responsible for keeping Iofina's register of shareholders up to date and the distribution of statutory documents such as Annual Reports and Interim Reports.

If you have a query regarding your shareholding, or if you wish to notify Capita of a change in your details or about a transfer of shares you can obtain downloadable forms from the Capita website (click here)

You may also contact Capita by telephone: +44 (0) 208 639 2470

Upp,

The holdings declaration was started when we decided to use a single point of contact for communication with the company. SG volunteered to be that contact point as he had been talking to the company already, but to give him a bit more clout the holdings tally was started. He could then state he was speaking on behalf of x% shareholdings. I offered to collate the information as I was already collating info in the spreadsheet.

It was only an optional arrangement for anyone that wished to share the information. I have around 150 PIs on the list and they are all have an anonymous ID which I use to prevent errors.

The list of anonymous declarees was listed in the spreadsheet but I have recently split that out so the spreadsheet doesn't get so many updates per day.

UrbanY,

I was wondering whether an annual 'audit' might be the way to go with regards trying to maintain accuracy on the PI holdings. I have had contact with increases and decreases in holdings (mostly increases to be fair), but I do have trouble catching updates put on the BB sometimes so it could be understated.

report 6th June

Now didn't we state on this thread over a year ago, that Chile would need seawater, but seawater means more use of energy, which they have little of. So opex goes up. Energy costs soar due to the need for pumping stations to get it 65 km and 7000' up.

The scarcity of water resources in the Chile has led miners to seek out solutions - desalination, for example - though this merely transforms the problem at hand into an energy issue.

"Our view is that [energy] is certainly a difficulty in this area," said Soler. While innovations have helped to decrease the energy requirements of desalination itself, most miners' consumption points are located far from the coast and at high altitudes, requiring energy-intensive pumping and elevation processes, he said.
However, he said, even with the power problem, replacing conventional water sources with sea water-based alternatives is the mining industry's most viable option at the moment.

Why do you need to know what other people holdings are?

Battery, perhaps we could ask people to update their holdings at the end of this month then quarterly or 6 monthly to try & keep it accurate. It might be a lot of info in one hit but would save you getting a constant drip of requests to update.

Good work battery, although I think you have to assume that the PI holdings could be out by up to 50%. I wouldn't expect them to be accurate for one second.

A pal mailed me last night, GBP, I've never heard of it, told me te look @ chart, I saw it bearish, but if a bounce off 6 occurred AND a break through 7, then 8.125 was the obvious target being both resistance & support several times in the past.

This is not a tip, I'm blind bar the chart on this stock. Do not know it.

I have previously claimed that GBO is , after IOF, the 2nd best investment currently available in small company high growth shares.

To reconsider this previous judgement I went to today's AGM and have reported very positively on that this evening on the GBO board, post 7434
