26/5/2014 12:58 | Ah Bogg1e, the one shining light. "the Board will report regularly on iodine production rates" Lance Baller (6 May 2014) That tells me it certainly won't be monthly in future. Meaningless anyway, we need proper sales figures. Con. | n3tleylucas

26/5/2014 10:55 | Freshvoice, Re: My guess is for Monday 9th and may include something like 'And the rate at the end of the month was XXXX per day. I hope the declaration is not so opaque. What was the average rate? And for how many days? Such opacity has been the plague of official utterances in the past. What we need at the very least is the actual total production from IOsorb units in mT for May. An unequivocal hard number. Any further detail, especially at the individual unit level is most welcome, and even an exit rate that might give some guidance, understood as speculative, to June's production. c | ![]() crosseyed
26/5/2014 10:41 | To add to sg's post, from 17180 in march: It's a long time since I had a close look at the goings on near Atlantis, but thanks to Sg's digging I've had a little look again. Anybody inclined to look at Montana Exploration from the DNRC records might be a little confused at the lack of permits in their name in Blaine County over the last two years. What their website doesn't tell you is that the operator of the Shaunavon (Sawtooth) wells is their partner farm-in company which Charles Selby was avoiding naming in the youtube clip. The partner is Comet Ridge Resources from their website: "Comet Ridge Resources was formed on July 26th, 2008 as a joint venture company between Comet Ridge Limited, LLC, an Australian listed oil and gas company, and the well respected US private equity firm, New York based, Pine Brook Road Partners, LLC. Comet Ridge Limited contributed its US properties and its management team to the new company. In return it received a 43.75% equity interest in the new company. Pine Brook contributed cash and properties. Pine Brook can increase its equity interest in Comet Ridge Resources to 80% or more by spending additional capital on exploring and developing the US projects." Comet Ridge Resources don't reveal much about themselves, but I have come across them before in relation to Nighthawk in Colorado, where they have acquired a fair lease area in Lincoln County held under the Pineridge Oil and Gas banner. Comet Ridge Montana LLC is the subsidiary actually operating the wells. There is little information on the DNRC website about the four wells drilled last autumn, but three of them were permitted to drill well much deeper than the Sawtooth, through the Bakken and Three Forks into the Nisku (2 wells) and the Duperow (1 well). I wonder if our Chairman keeps in touch with his old Shell colleagues? He and Dr Alex Kulpecz (on the board of Montana Exploration) both left Shell in 1998. Not a bad pedigree: | ![]() rugrat2

26/5/2014 10:09 | Just keeping an eye on what Montana exploration are up to in Blaine county New locations (21st May) In Blaine County, Montana Land & Exploration Inc. was approved to drill the SE Battle 34N-20E 12-23. The SE Battle will be at NW SW 23-34N-20E (2120 FSL/360 FWL) and will tap the Tampico Shale at a proposed depth of 4,360 feet. The Tampico Shale is a member of the Piper Formation. The figures give the lease grid location. Imo IOF have land as far east as 17 east, which is direct west of the location given. Without checking I think grid squares are on a 36 grid basis (6x6) each being 1 sq mile. So 18 and 19 will be 12 miles across. My estimate is that they are around 18-20 miles from leases I believe IOF have. Very few leases in the apparent IOF area are registered in the name of IOF. Some next to IOF wells are shown as CSG resources expiry date 12/6/2021. CSG feature all over the apparent IOF land and with the same lease date expiry, right on the eastern edge of Hill county where it joins Blaine county. About 2 miles from the CSG partners lease is a grid square leased by Comet ridge Montana with the same expiry date of 12/6/2021. Given the range of dates available it seems too much of a coincidence not to be an IOF lease. Comet have leases in Blaine near Montana exploration, but the dates of the leases vary, so that is probably Comet. Comet ridge are based in Denver Colorado. The private partner for Montana exploration are also based in Denver Colorado. So imo worth keeping an eye on what Montana exploration achieve or not, as the case may be. | ![]() superg1

25/5/2014 16:53 | N3L, who normally posts his (mostly) drivel at 5 minute intervals has not posted anything since 23.11 last night, 24 May, according to the ADVFN search facility. (Which I know is sometimes wrong.) New thread naming him created at 00.25 on 25 May. New avatar Chris Holden created 25 May threatening legal action. This is Chris Holdens first post on the subject and he does not deny being N3L. "Chris Holden - 25 May 2014 - 01:01:36 - 1 of 19 Look you complete and utter psycho, my lawyers are on this and I would strongly advise that you desist from futher blackening my name." Seems to be true then. I presume that's the last we will see of N3L. Well out of order to name him like that and publish his address IMO but his presence on these boards won't be missed by me. | ![]() ammons
