01/4/2014 08:37 | Mister big it seems more on the sell side than the buy?? | ![]() awolagain
01/4/2014 08:34 | also large volume developing in a tug of war position with neither side winning probably means the floor! we shall see | mister big
01/4/2014 08:32 | uppompeii The bottom is always impossible to call but it feels like shorters are running out of steam, but a drop in price always shakes the trees to find the weak! I think if you examine the RNS, nothing has really changed except a desire to slow down a tad and reevaluate the business. | mister big
01/4/2014 08:27 | good morning! I agree with writz, but suspect that the selling was institutional and may well be linked to the comment that one institution was clearing down there whole stake in the company. | mister big
01/4/2014 08:24 | superg1 - yes I see that, I suppose I was more alluding to the fact that some may see a white knight with connections whereas he has in fact told us it doesn't matter which way the share price is moving to make money. He may have called the bottom though, but I want to see a little more though to convince me this is back on track and I've been saying to myself from 75p or so that I don't mind losing the first 25% of a recovery to get it right. And happier not losing 25%+ by doing so! | ![]() uppompeii
01/4/2014 08:21 | SG, yes. Quite refreshing. | writz
01/4/2014 08:10 | Is that the funds that can no longer hold due to our market cap having fallen and us no longer being included in the AIM 100? | ![]() woodpeckers
01/4/2014 08:03 | It does occur to me, though, that there must still be some aggressive selling going on for that amount of stock to be bought with almost no effect on the share price. | writz
01/4/2014 08:02 | ... and they woke up, and it had all been a dream ... | writz
01/4/2014 07:49 | I think it's shorters behaviour on the boards that people object to. If Mr Big started hourly postings about how we are all idiots and took massive pleasure in our losses (shonny et al) made personal attacks etc all on the back of zero knowledge then I'm sure he'd be less welcome | count chris
01/4/2014 07:39 | Hold on. Im confused. Im sure mr big is a lovely man but why are you all feting him? He shorted the company from £2 and if he did it on a scale equal to his current holding he would have inflicted huge damage on the sp?Is it because he is now buying millions? And is wealthy? And has a connection with the company? And is a friendly chap?A few months ago at £2 he would have been as evil as Netley! This thread loses me on more and more occassions! | ![]() uppompeii
01/4/2014 07:30 | Hope that 3% soon becomes 4.... that would start to get them worried. Welcome to the board mister big! :-) | ![]() woodpeckers
01/4/2014 07:24 | The interesting thing is that if Mister Big holds almost 3% then that's a substantial chunk of the free float which isn't available for the shorters to buy back :-) | ![]() cyberbub
01/4/2014 07:21 | Mindset Yep If he starts missing a few 3 foot putts he will miss a lot more. Seen enough in those posts to know you are who you say you are. Yes Chile is interesting and the production cost difference combined with commercial scarcity is the big attraction here. Why shouldn't it be a cartel at the wrong end of production costs which are rising rapidly, they have no room to force others out. The sector is not big enough to encourage others to chase low ppm high costs sites around the world. Take that v graphite and Lithium, where 100's could get involved due to various resources. So I like it, and remain long term, it just needs delivery and that will come. What CF said at the AGM did stick. He had a good moan the pace the US guys work at, construction and otherwise. I must admit I look at those plant and wonder why it takes them so long to build them. A steel erection team here would have it done in weeks I suspect. | ![]() superg1
31/3/2014 23:54 | Mister Big, do you feel we are now vulnerable to a cheap takeover? (maybe by your good self, who knows?) Moreover, should we be worried about a potential MBO whilst the Market Cap languishes at these levels? | ![]() festario
31/3/2014 23:43 | monts12 re the comment on ffyes - this is a good insight because if iofina really does have an edge on production costs, as their volumes rise and market shares increases, they can pressure the other producers. Most posts are negative or focus on factors like iodine price. This company has actually achieved a huge amount in a short time, and short term problems are often over blown and forgotten in due course. reading the posts is a refreshing reminder of how the wrong mindset propagates a losing mind set in investors. | mister big
31/3/2014 23:34 | . Thanks | ![]() monts12
31/3/2014 23:20 | time line on rns suggests that something should come out in a few weeks or so, on the the decision. that i believe could be the trigger. along with no fund raiser. | mister big
31/3/2014 23:18 | Mr big Yes I realise Chris's age etc. but why leave abruptly without having a replacement lined up...any ideas? | ![]() monts12
31/3/2014 23:18 | How refreshing to have someone who turns up, looks to the future and doesn't dwell on the past. I may not have your deep pockets Mister Big but I hold the same view of Iofina, prepare for warp drive. | ![]() ansana
31/3/2014 23:16 | Good luck anyway bud, at least you've livened things up from the usual tiresome drivel. | n3tleylucas |
