Johnsimpson, the rns's released by investec are allways the correct ones, however it doesn't mean the information contained within that rns is all present. You have just seen for yourself that some information was edited out.

Looks like peeps here expect either monthly RNS's or blood.

We had relevant RNS's on 25 Sept, 9 and 31 October. Today is 20 November, exactly 3 weeks since we were last updated on company performance.

Maybe one of the nutters on here should write to the company requesting weekly updates.

Talking if dogs, mine decided I should be awake right. John it's a lab we are looking for that's the true Maisie.

For those asking, Ram did state he was in around 40p I believe, but then got greedy on the highs (ram's comment)

Had they got to io6 by now, and a water depot sorted then I doubt this debate would be going on.

The fact is they decided to pile all the first run of plants into OK, and we are behind as in theory io5 should be done now going on the old plan, that puts us around 6 months behind in theory, but as they are now building plants at the same time, they will catch up with the timeline. We expected 1 per quarter through 2013 so io8 by June 14 at that rate.
The price took a hit, but still doesn't account for the first water permit, which happens to be 80% of the original Montana plan of 100k bpd. I'll leave individuals to do their research on that one.

They plan 6 for next year beyond io6/2nd io2site plant.

But then how many times have we said it's not plant numbers it's bpd and ppm.

EG, the io2 site based on the figures, and 50k bpd mentioned is worth 10 plus io1 plants. I'm sure they could have built 10 in Texas to cover what io2 looks like it will eventually do. But that would be $15m plus capex and higher opex.

Updates will come no doubt.

Talk - ramblings, if you will - about water, oil and competitors' poor output is a fairly constant background burble here. I think it all helps to 'fill in the picture' and I don't think the volume has increased recently, other than re. the third mentioned perhaps, and that's because it's very recently been in the news.

And yes, please, do say one more thing.

Do please tell me why you still hold 200k* when in the same breath you say:

" ...tick me down but I've removed my rose tinted glasses and sticking to blue chip shares." (11243)

*I think you've said this before. And I think someone asked you whether you meant shares or £s. And I don't think you replied.

Jasones52,

What disappointingly loose language! - the only disappointingly loose language is that from the rns of 1/8/13.

And, instead of reading too much into my writing style, try and bury your nose into the numerous projected figures on iodine output, water, oil, helium etc. from this year's posts.

You will notice that when timelines and output numbers are not met, you will get ramblings about water, oil etc. and competitor's poor output, their share price etc.

Need I say more?

Hey ramu,

FWIW, I believe IOF will:

a) Have 5 possibly 6 plants built before 31/12/13 (but maybe not all commissioned and producing)

b) Achieve an annualised exit run rate of 700-1000mt by year end (but maybe a lot more than that by 31/01/14)

c) Blow your hope of a £2 share price by year end out of the water (to the upside)

Only a few weeks to wait to see if I am right and then hopefully your (understandable) nervousness will be calmed.

"...does that not tell you guys something is amiss."

Of course it tells us nothing of the sort. What disappointingly loose language!

You could argue it tells us that something MIGHT be amiss, that there COULD be delays, that IT'S CONCEIVABLE there's bad news that hasn't broken yet... but in no possible way does it tell 'us guys' that something is [- repeat IS -] amiss.

And I still have this weird feeling that your writing style is very, very familiar...

Ramu, if you think something is amiss, maybe time to sell if you haven't already?

I personally don't think anything is amiss and am quite happy to wait until end of year to see if the annual production rate target of 700MT-1000MT is achieved.

We waited so long for IO2 to be built and producing, now in the space of months we are getting IO3, 4, 5 and hopefully 6. In my eyes it is time to let them deliver on their objectives. If they don't, the share price will fall, if they do, the share price will rise.

If you are confident in your investment, sit back and relax, I certainly am.

What I truly don't understand is we investors are arguing/debating/discussing various output figures, timelines etc. and BOD is not updating us with production/build figures - does that not tell you guys something is amiss. And please, please don't give me 'under the radar' when the 1/8/13 rns was soooooo gung-ho!

Baguette - My quote is copied directly from the IOF RNS and does contain the word 'producing'. I maintain my position.

noli,

It is easy to have high percentage increases when you start from a low base but the figures of 700mt were a far cry from those of 2000mt and above quoted by various posters in the early months of 2013, not to mention water, oil, helium and unquantifiable SG1 (superg gas oxide).

ramu kumar, the point is 700 to 100mt, that is what iof have stated. 6 plants running matters not as long as they hit the target given.

Can you name another iodine company that has increased the iodine production by 700 to 1000mt, as long as iof get 3 plants up which they have they will hit the target.

So if you believe they are struggling on that basis, then iof may not be for you.

Noli,

Read the rns of 1/8/13 - do you genuinely believe IO4-6 to be completed by year end?

che7win,

When you compare yourself with the last boy/girl in the class, you'll always look good.

My last reply from the company last month:

"As for #4, #5 and #6 we continue to work diligently to get them on line as soon as possible. As we have announced, all the procurement has been completed and we are working on site development.

I expect that we will publish another update in the very near future.

Your comments on delivery to expectations is well noted. I appreciate your input and share your views."

Ramu,
I am as eager as you to have an update, you are venting off which I don't mind.

However, I don't think IOF I struggling, if you want to see struggling, just look at Sirocco Mining or SQM.

We are the flip side of that coin.

Where are you getting the core business appears to be struggling from?

SG,

Decent debate is wanting an update, i.e. rns from BOD, not YOUR ramblings about helium, oil, water, 3 forks, Sirocco, iodine deficiency, lithium iodine batteries etc. when the core business of iodine appears to be struggling and the share price falling.

Monty,

You can keep GL's underpants in your safe. Expecting a production and build update after the rns of 1/8/13, almost 5 months ago is not asking too much. That should take priority over change of address and directors' options.
