30/8/2013 07:30 | re Noli's post for every thing that does appear there are dozens of dead ends, that are never mentioned in the early stage of the route. We always seek to try and find some tangible evidence in the form of a link or document to support any comments. The Lima Ohio thing is just an example of something that popped up and was used as a demonstration to explain how things are tracked. That may well be complete tosh, and the search system linking in sites so ignore it. If we find something to back it up, it will get posted. Helium got a mention recently, not to flower it up, but simply because Weil resources have suddenly become vocal, they own the Weil 1 well where the helium is. They spoke in the last few days of developing the Montana play. We have said IOF surround the well with land leases. The Weil 1 well has the comment of a 2 billion cf source. The point is Helium processing facilities are expensive. So if Weil are going to build one in Montana, I doubt they would do that for the small area, and ignore the helium all around, it would not make it financially viable. So the logical sequence to me, is to secure the Helium acreage area, before you spend a lot of money on a helium processing facility. It is pointless them drilling more wells in the Rudyard field, if they are not intending to extract Helium. It would also seem to be stupid to build an expensive processing facility, before securing the surrounding acreage. So we'll see on that front, but the logic to me suggests Weil at least will be after IOF Helium rights. With the recent action and comments by them it may be near term, and a cash boost we overlooked. | superg1

30/8/2013 07:10 | warrops, my posts are no different than any others, i know just about as much as everyone else. I just spend as much time as i can trying to find out whats going on. I email many different companies trying to follow up what i think i have found, some come back good, others not so good or no reply at all. I emailed two companies yesterday on some findings i found last week, all from google. One is a definate and its a new find, its on google. If you feel i am teasing you and it can cause you or others alarm, please filter me. No hard feeling on the above but you can use google just the same as i can. | noli
30/8/2013 07:09 | I enjoyed that Mike. | peterz
30/8/2013 06:01 | Re: CEO From some of the comments on here, one gets the impression that IOF is a rudderless ship with no one on the bridge, and no control of direction. This is not the case. IOF started at 'A' and is en-route to 'B'. The bridge is full of people who are doing more of what they already know how to do: obtain leases, procure equipment, build plants, run plants. And if a decision is required that falls outside their comfort zone or pay grade, then guess what: there is a Captain. The difference being that instead of doing shifts on the bridge - he stays in his cabin, and comes up to the bridge when needed. That Captain is the same one that started at point A, and has steered the ship this far, and he will continue to help plot the course for as long as necessary. Lance hasn't disappeared, he is paid as a consultant, and is doing precisely that, and more. Yes, we do need a new 'figurehead', the passengers feel un-nerved that there is an empty seat at the Captain's table. My final metaphor: I was having lunch on a Greek ferry many years ago, mid-way between Corfu and Piraeus, when suddenly three blasts were heard on the ship's horn (going astern). A uniformed gentleman got up from a nearby table part way through his meal and left, he was the Captain. I don't suppose many people at that lunch noticed the connection. And yes .... we got to 'B'. Best wishes - Mike (bought another 1k yesterday - sale must end soon). | spike_1
29/8/2013 22:37 | You still buying Northcote Energy Rikivilla? They look set for gains and news on way i'm told and new broker coverage in the pipeline. Should be fun... | pigeon1
29/8/2013 22:35 | Rikivilla you seem to be a sensible chap. May the force be with us... | pigeon1
29/8/2013 22:28 | Worraps Exactly and one PI very recently found adverts that looked like IOF job adverts for positions in Lima Ohio. Within hours of asking about it, the advert has now gone. You can find other sites with identical wording, but if you try to view it the company comes up as confidential. It could be nothing and just a glitch. if it's something it's a mystery for now and only just being researched. It could be a complete red herring. Mentioned, as some wonder how things can be possibly known. | superg1
29/8/2013 22:06 | Ansana: many thanks for your reply: much appreciated. As you say, September is almost upon us, anyway! The long and patient wait is nearly over. | rhwillcol
29/8/2013 22:06 | Yes, I agree about google searches. Sometimes, I've been amazed at what pops up, sometimes just by casually putting in a few words to get a search going. Just a day or two ago, I came across several possibilities as regards directors of oil companies who had recently resigned, and could probably do quite a good job of CEO at IOF. But, these searches, and digging, can only ever be possibilites, not certainties. Of course, it enhances the future potential, and the imagination for IOF, and can sometimes be quite exciting, the thought of what could be. But, it has to stop there, until we hear officially via a news release. At the end of the day, it's wishful thinking. Most of us run of the mill posters here read all the 'in the know' posts from you, superg, and Ansana etc., apparently trying to discreetly put across that you know things that we don't. It can be intriguing, wondering what's around the corner, that you know and we don't. But, these teases of yours can also cause alarm, when the 'suggestions' don't materialise. Anyway, tomorrow's another day, and sure enough, one of these 'tomorrows' will bring some much anticipated news. And it had better be good, or else I'll be whinging again! | worraps
29/8/2013 22:04 | On another point where the mystery continues. Atlantis water solutions registered in Nov 2011, in Delaware and we know what it is now. 3 weeks after that, a company name of Atlantis Alliance Corporation registered with the same registering agent. I thought at the time, and still consider, that it is something to do with IOF. No company has appeared under that name, so the curiosity continues. It could have been something to do with the original Halliburton JV. | superg1
29/8/2013 21:59 | Yes but we're not talking about pi's digging out info on the web and then forcing an RNS. We're talking about the company giving out info to pi's via email before it's released to the market. There is a difference. | n3tleylucas
29/8/2013 21:58 | Point taken superg1, but information which isn't price sensitive is worth little. Even we were able to view the building from the outside, we would still not know how far advanced they were with inside equipment. It could well be an empty shell. PS I wish to thank you for all the research you have carried out and for your willingness to share your findings. | roundup
29/8/2013 21:53 | Rikivilla, Luckily I don't buy shares based on charts as IOF's chart to me looks like a company in decline having just gone through a dead cat bounce. If I didn't know better I wouldn't touch this company with a bargepole. I would be more likely to buy into CCE: But WDIK? | sandbag
29/8/2013 21:51 | Worraps We called the water sector Atlantis water solutions probably a year before iof announced the water div as Atlantis water solutions. No one told us, we dug it out from some very deep research. Check out that well report snippet, re the Nisku. We dug that out and sent it to IOF, it's relevant for them E.G. A bit of a mystery for now, but it seems something may be IOF connected in Ohio, just dug out by someone. Could be nothing, but interesting and worthy of some further work. | superg1
29/8/2013 21:49 | It's amazing what you can find on goggle, you just need to look in the right places. | noli
29/8/2013 21:43 | roundup It all depends if it's price sensitive. The basic point that we don't live in OK, means we can't pop down the road to see how the builds are going. If IOF was dual listed in the US I suspect we could even get some photo's of progress, the start up, and testing and so on. It is only geography that prevents us, and that is only by choice. IOF have quoted a roll out in a 25 km radius. | superg1
29/8/2013 21:41 | roundup.....I totally agree with you, which makes me wonder why superg insisted I do it! Both superg and Ansana appear to have information which has not yet been released. How?? | worraps
29/8/2013 21:37 | What do you mean roundup? That the idea of pi's getting sensitive info from IOF is ludicrous because it's not true? Or it's ludicrous that the company do give out that info to a pi? I can tell you that IOF do give out sensitive info to pi's before informing the market. The evidence has been posted here on several occasions. Is it a breach of AIM rules? Yes, of course it is. | n3tleylucas
29/8/2013 21:31 | The notion that any PI can send an email to the company and obtain information which is not already out in the public domain is ludicrous. | roundup
29/8/2013 21:28 | Ansana - with all due respect the "you will see" needs to come from the company not you. I hope it does come! | rikivilla
29/8/2013 21:26 | Buy signal registered today. | urbanyeti
29/8/2013 21:06 | Anybody any view on the Buy recommendation here? - bit.ly/1ceKzan | leecoyote
29/8/2013 20:53 | You'll see :-) | ansana
29/8/2013 20:50 | Chart looks good for me in terms of a move up. Going to be do or die in The next month I think - either the in the know gang ( or so they imply) are correct or they are being fed bs by the mole. Am long and have been in since Dec but company really need to start delivering, if they do then hang on to your hats. | rikivilla |
