02/8/2013 07:56 | I don't think it's a case of whether anyone is short, or long term. I think we're all getting a bit jaded of "under the radar", and watching our investment go down as a consequence. | worraps
02/8/2013 07:56 | CEO front looking good too. We need two crisp news releases Patent and New CEO. That will get us back on track. | ansana
02/8/2013 07:49 | So now everyone is calling for another rns? If everyone as they state is a longtermer, what is the issue? An rns because someone has uncovered some info? Why is everyone so persistent in forcing the companys hand all the time? Frankly I see virtually no one here who is looking longer term if the posts are any evidence to go by. | uppompeii
02/8/2013 07:41 | It's a bit subtle, but the increased brine at IO.2 was mentioned in this sentence Iodine ppm levels and volumes at WET® IOsorb IO#1 continue to improve as well. I interpreted "as well" to mean that ppm and volumes improved at both IO.1 and IO.2 | madchick
02/8/2013 07:41 | IOF must have known the patent was coming. Why not include in the RNS, or delay RNS until it had been cleared to announce? Baffles me! | indiagolf12
02/8/2013 07:41 | great find jp surely this has to be rns'd price sensitive and all that absolutely brilliant news!!! | jointer13
02/8/2013 07:40 | RISE or TANK ? | mastertraderlistentome
02/8/2013 07:39 | shorts form an orderly queue please:-)))) RNS on its way??? | fairenough11
02/8/2013 07:39 | I`m hoping she doesnt open up higher so I can get another lump before people twig on about the patent. no rns till later please | iof multibagger
02/8/2013 07:31 | The rns should have been written in a positive but truthful manner. Whenever an rns is issued investors scrutinise it to try and glean as much information as possible, what does it actually mean, is the company trying to hide something, or over play the positives. The second paragraph starts with "despite" taken negatively this paragraph sounds negative, then the second paragraph whammy, "continues to be below forecast". We have record and increasing production, behind yes , but still increasing quickly. Further, IOF have a very robust and efficient plant, I am delighted that despite the brine containing vast amounts of oil, the system coped. This is a big plus and shows that providing we have an input of brine the system can work with contamination of oil. If the system could not cope with the oil, we would be in a far worse situation than we are today. I for one am very pleased with our superb and patented system. | rogerbridge
02/8/2013 07:30 | Thanks for the info JP, great find indeed. | noli
02/8/2013 07:27 | Nice find jpsmthson. Big big thanks for that key info. SG yesterdays RNS is yet another example of Iofina wanting to stay under the radar. Suits me fine as it allowed me to top up again. | bobsworth
02/8/2013 07:22 | I just wonder sg, if itec feel this is rnsable? (I hope it is and personally see it as a key point to protect the ip owned by iof).Just having a chuckle to myself here - I wonder if they do decide to rns what they can say on this to take the gloss off this one - it took 4 days to arrive in the post? some of the ink was smudged on the patent? on a serious note this is great newsScrutable is quiet - isn't he a patent specialist or am I thinking of gad? | supreme mo
02/8/2013 07:03 | Could be a 7.55 job like the water permit rns find. It's the patent alright, and the one some bet wouldn't be achieved | superg1
02/8/2013 06:58 | Right I have been digging. That patent is described as competition killing in that sector. IOF aware our newbie has found it and posted it, so probably an rns coming Iwould imagine. I have asked IOF re the oil comment which is too vague and adds doubt for investors due to similar issues others had at the location. It's solved by an additive. Oil is not an issue that severely affects IOF tech. Why did that pop up again.. Due to new brine. That could be a slip but shows new brine is in play. So it seems io2 is getting new brine. I must read that patent now. Gad will no doubt be doing so. | superg1
02/8/2013 06:53 | maca has done his best to produce erroneous information with a little bit of substance here and there. Time to move on under another avatar maca 'You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time' | the librarian
02/8/2013 05:53 | I think maca believes that there is some sort of voodoo witchcraft going on at IOF. I have no clue what the blighter is on about. Perhaps I am too stupid. | steveolds
02/8/2013 00:34 | Wow JPS - A couple of posts on IOF & you come up with that! - Nice Digging - Just in from the pub quiz & won that by a whisker - Looks like things are picking up - Hopefully a better day tomorrow.... EDIT Maca welcome back - Compulsive is it not? | pcjoe
02/8/2013 00:15 | Urban Most companies would know what was happening before a BB had to tell them! LOL | freshvoice
02/8/2013 00:05 | Maca1212 What's your angle here? Are you a bitter Arysta shareholder or aggrieved that IOF have stumbled across a great bargain and you just can't stand it? You don't want to invest in IOF because it is "no longer of interest" to you so why do you keep posting on this forum? | roger melly
01/8/2013 23:54 | Most firms would be having their lawyers do a final check before announcing anything to the market. | urbanyeti
01/8/2013 23:32 | hew, From 2012: "The Group has today acquired all equipment, contracts, brine leases, and intellectual property associated with an Oklahoma iodine extraction facility. The purchase price of up to $1,000,000, which is based on the average brine availability and market price of iodine, will be paid in five annual instalments commencing in 2013 with no funds paid upfront.* Now if that is not a steal, I don't know what is, particularly when you take into consideration the balance sheet value that IOF tends to ascribe to IP - hell these guys are even carrying a $427k 2012 balance sheet asset ascribed to 'Customer Relationships'. I have to say that I subscribe to the theory of 'no free lunch', however I suppose if you do this latest example of corporate largesse is simply par for the course. Taking that view, maybe my accountancy-led misgivings are in fact completely wrong and IOF have accounted correctly for these random acts of corporate giving. That being the case, maybe the value of customer relationships (and supplier relationships perhaps ) is due for a large upwards re-valuation this year? Seems plausible. M | maca1212
01/8/2013 23:27 | Then surely we can expect an RNS regarding the patent? If it was only issued yesterday, one would assume Chris would have included it today, however he probably wrote the RNS content before the patent was issued. We may therefore get another RNS in the next few days. | bogg1e
01/8/2013 23:17 | well done jps good find shorts will be closing tommorow double quick along with people buying could really motor. The patent is what we have been waiting for. Great news. | iof multibagger |
