retiree......thankyou very much for that, beautifully explained. It makes things a bit easier to bear when you understand what's going on!

titus,

No probs bud, I might be a bear, but I like to be helpful with stuff.

You'll find the trickiest bit, once you've downloaded & run jing, is working out how to actually capture the area you want. Took me about an hour to fathom it! lol

I'm not quite sure jamonit was as clear as he could be regarding what I considered to be quite an initially tricky little procedure ... here goes. Bear in mind I'm using a laptop, in Google Chrome.

You'll see the half sun jing tool at the top of the screen, right at the top, in the middle. As Jamonit says, put your pointer on it, click the left "+" "capture", then the tricky bit begins! lol ... out pops the range finder, move it around so the top left of what you want to capture matches the top left of the range finder, you'll see the little measurement box ... left click at the point you want the top left to begin ... hold down the left click and drag your finger right across the touch pad, you'll see it is highlighting the area for capture! Keep holding the left click down whilst dragging your finger to cover all the area you want to be captured, then let go when you're happy and press the left 'capture image' box which will appear, and then follow my earlier post to get the screencast posted. Play around with it until you get comfortable, becomes easy after a while. Confidence, gl.

If yer not comfortable initially posting here, go to any of the test threads and play around with it ... just put TEST in the EPIC search box, and play in private 'til you get it right! lol ...

Retiree, any thoughts on the 140k at 160p on the sell side? Do you think it is there as a genuine sell order or just an attempt to surpress the share price? Would be good to get up to 160 just to see what happens to it.

Titus,

If I recall and if I remember the post you are referring to, I read cyber's request as said in humour and tongue in cheek...as in far beyond his understanding...the words he quoted appeared to be technical jargon, so to speak. I may be wrong, I am sure cyber will correct me

Spike_1 (Mike), thanks for that explanation / theory, I hope you're right about them being buys. I feel we're being played like a fiddle at the moment, fiddle being the operative word! And I long for the good old days, when we were steady and calm, and relaxed without all this shareprice twitching. Driving me nuts.

Jamonit & N3

Very many thanks indeed to both of you for your step by step guidance on Jing + Screencast.

With everything happening at present in the markets I deal in I may not be able to get into this software before the week-end, but the facility to save a thousand words with a picture will transform posting to BBs, even on a TA-averse thread. Most grateful.

cyberbub:

Please forgive me if my response to your Elliott request was a bit terse. Yours was OT and I needed to get some sleep after a trying few days. A mere glance through, for example, Glen Neely's book "Mastering Elliott Wave" would show that this is not a light subject. I try to keep my TA posts simple but still find adapting to the throwaway transient fluff of the internet surfing age in a meaningful way difficult.

In short, there's no quick & easy filter to throw up prospects using that particular method - one of many tools available to those of us who take a technical approach to price movement analysis.

When I can post charts here I hope to pass on a few ideas, but don't have time to do complex analysis for others, hence my genuine DYOR suggestion.

well said crazy , don't give them the satisfaction of replying to their stupidity, I filtered one poster this morning but before I did I had a look at some of their previous posts and it was the same old rubbish on several different boards for several different companies, just one line deramping utter garbage.

A bit of 'spring cleaning' done having had a quick scan of posts.

Some I had on filter from days of old, same names on various threads.

Will keep spring cleaning, when I have the time.

Just use filter

Re: tiny AT trades: I would think it is a big buyer, just as easy in this market to buy off the bid as it is the offer.

Best wishes - Mike

Yes and the patent news of course. The patent news will be seen as a big plus by some as I know some people (mis-informed) don't think it will be granted.

Just another part of the puzzle to be completed.

So short term, there is plenty that could be RNS'd. Personally, the CEO appointment, IO2 update and IO3 commissioned are the ones I am looking for, and soon preferably!
