Rns - the company today reports the CEO was assassinated in a bloody coup and the carpet was well and truly stained .
Mr banks was sacked and left in disgrace following the board room disagreement over strategy to consolidate all insurance businesses in the listed company .
The company thanks mr banks for his service and hopes he will spend more time with his family and not , go into competition against it !

I actually like this style of rns maybe it will catch on !

Masure

I know a few hundred people that have retired or resigned because they knew, and were told, they would be fired, among a few other options.

A few recently retired and resigned from IOF, which is true, however what would have happened if they didn't? it's obvious.

So yes probably Mr B resigned because he knew what was coming next.

The offer of resignation is commonplace and I suggest a considerable percentage of RNS resignations have been when humtpy was about to be pushed.

We had CF in IOF who 'retired'. Some city folk would simply not invest because of his presence. Some folk probably sold because he left.

That's life.

I entertain conversation with him because I have a professional interest in psychology - always learn something. !

Measuring Guy, you are like a dog with an old slipper.Any perceived wrongdoings have a clear line of process to follow, rather than harrassing the person concerned. If I was Mr Banks, I would simply ignore you.Now as regards his departure from Brightside, sacking? Resignation?? Have you never heard of allowing someone to leave with professional dignity maintained? When did you last see any RNS with any Director being sacked?? ... and that word being used? It simply doesn't happen. Not even George Lantz, et-al.What do you want? Blood?

Apparently certain RNS announcements were factually incorrect too !

"Is it insightful in any way regarding Iofina or the value of our investment?"

Not necessarily Bogg1e but it might be in due course. When it comes to how much weight people may give to claims and pronouncements by some posters, it could be useful to be aware of some prior history. Have a nice weekend !

Except Masurnguy, you fail to explain why you feel the need to do this. is it relevant? Is it insightful in any way regarding Iofina or the value of our investment?

Nothing wrong with my maths, logic or facts, which can all be clearly verified on this and the BRT thread. You seem to have a problem correlating your answers with actual published facts by regulated entities !

Then how come your "answers" don't correspond with the information that was contained in formal RNS announcements issued by the company to the market. ?

JimJones, did your questionnaire earlier. Interesting questions, it seems to be orientated far more towards interrelationships (which is interesting considering nearly all posters are avatars and probably do not know each other) than the financial world. Good luck with your phd.

Some people often try the tactic of evading the issue when they can't provide a credible explanation.

The Rev. Jim Jones? Creepy. If you don' mind my saying JJ, you should perhaps stick to James if you want people to take your posts seriously. Or perhaps you are a bit young to appreciate what that name evokes. Try Googling it.
