25/5/2014 14:30 | Are we sure that is Nutters? I thought he was a lot older and certainly a lot fatter. Certainly the right part of the country though, maybe there is a local troll club? | ![]() freshvoicem
25/5/2014 12:40 | N3L suddenly stopped posting after this thread was created: Don't like N3L's antics but publishing his address has gone a bit too far I think. | ![]() ammons
25/5/2014 09:16 | SG1 - if the consensus think 35MT for May, (imo very achievable based on detailed production info in April RNS) then Mr Market will like that and respond accordingly. That would represent a 60% increase over April (21.9MT) production. Not forgetting, the restricted brine flows from Chesa affecting current production. IO5 and IO6 due to be operational by end of Q2 - so less than 5 week time. Maybe some news then on current discussions with Chesa for increased brine supply whilst high fracking activity continues. IO4 -IO6 in the waiting. Sentiment definitely changing for the good : ) | orslega
24/5/2014 21:10 | You sound a bit jaded roger? Ah well... I care for you, and I'll play you a song... just for you mind; | n3tleylucas
24/5/2014 21:07 | I said earlier that I would have a look for any satellite library images that may give a clue as to when work started on the site next to the Lohmann swd well. Until the last month or two there was a gap of 6-7 months with no images that I can find, so all that I can say is that work had not started at the end of last August. | ![]() rugrat2
24/5/2014 18:40 | Some great work Rug, thanks. I am looking forward to the May production figures and also news of forward strategy re, pods at the AGM on 10th June. | ![]() rogerbridge

24/5/2014 17:28 | What makes you think we'll have monthly updates now Lance is back Monts? | n3tleylucas
24/5/2014 17:01 | 35t for May would be a big step in the right direction. | monty panesar
24/5/2014 15:56 | Bogg1e, From the 17/12/13 Review and Outlook rns: "Current planning now envisages construction of up to three additional full size plants in 2014 beyond the plants currently in construction." And then from the 27/03/14 Market Update rns: "The Board is of the view that, prior to work commencing on further full scale plants, an operational review be undertaken. This review, scheduled for completion in the autumn, will include considerations for improvements to construction methodology, reduction in total cost, improvement in time to complete, and optimal plant sizing. Construction of further full size plants will be delayed until this review is complete..... " My guess is that if the Zahorsky pad was intended as an IOF plant site, then it and the Lohmann pad were both part of the additional three plant plan. The decision to suspend construction was probably taken late Feb/early March, three or four weeks before the rns, during initial site preparations. Hence by the time the satellite image was acquired on 10/3 the sites were cleared of plant and materials. That choice of sites was of course under the previous regime, so they may or may not be relevant to Lance. We hear on the grapevine that MidStates are the operators of the swd wells hosting the next large scale plants to be built, and I would have been amazed if that was not the case. If we could not see those ground works my money would be on a plant at Dacoma in preference to the others, but we do not know what the ppms are like at the three swd wells. | ![]() rugrat2
24/5/2014 14:17 | Well if you believe the growing rumblings Bob then most should be happy, 7 days worth left yet and a general hope for around 35 mt to demonstrate progress. | ![]() superg1
24/5/2014 14:11 | Yes it will be very interesting to see what May's production is especially with IOF#4 adding to the output and IOF#2 better optimised with it's filters re-instated and plant 1 up 25% in production. Plant 4 I believe is also not as affected as plants 3 & 5 on the brine interruption! Fingers crossed they already have solutions agreed for the brine interruption and are making good progress to address the 90 days of expected interruption. | ![]() bobsworth

24/5/2014 13:56 | Rug, do you think the Lohmann and Zahorsky SWDs are the intended sites for IO7 and 8? Thanks btw. Great work. | ![]() bogg1e
24/5/2014 13:26 | Once again the generosity of some of the people on this bb is quite amazing. It has been a difficult year for IOF but made easier by this sharing. | ![]() peterz
24/5/2014 13:24 | The more topnotch research the better...Personally I am hoping that if we can get 2 consecutive months of steadily increasing production, plus posititve news of the mobile plants, we could start a run towards 80p chart resistance... who knows, if we get the water granted then maybe even 100p by autumn? Certainly the share price action for the last 2 weeks has been encouraging... I would not be surprised to see a breakout towards 55-60p next week in anticipation of the next production update...Just my thoughts, no advice intended... | ![]() cyberbub
24/5/2014 13:00 | That reminds me cyberbub, I spotted a possible mobile site in very early stage of preparation - not linked with the usual suspects. Won't say more than that as purely speculative. Thanks for the responses guys. | ![]() rugrat2
24/5/2014 12:52 | The various things efecting SQM; will the 5% tax hike come into effect 2015? Re the 150 litres per second rule, if ruled upon, is that effective from 2016? Thanks. | ![]() bogg1e
