Well hopefully that marks the point where we can finally put our "annus horriblis" behind us. I sure hope so anyway, I don't think my nerves could stand another 12 months like that.

Anyway, for info this is what Numis reckon re funding:

Iofina funding position: Iofina had a cash balance of $2.3m at the end of Q114. We understand that there is less than $1m of capex committed to plant construction and cash inflow is expected in FY14 from both operations and inventory draw-down. Iofina are looking at receivable based credit to add financial flexibility. Based on current production guidance, management do not see the need for additional funds to realise the group's core business plan.

EDIT: Just realised I got post 20,000! Awesome.

Not me - no suggestion that this is another asos. Seems to me that at very least company has something to sell.

Just need Scrutable back now! Perhaps this was their "warehouse" moment, their Ratner event.

Now if only I could believe about the cash...

I may be completely wrong here so apologies if I am and please correct me but didn't they say as much just before the bond last year? Or is my memory lost in the annals of bad news?

These are about the price I paid for them with my first purchases. Not looked but probably over four years ago. At that time had nothing but hope and belief. No comparison to state of company now. It has process which has been proved to work and plant in place to achieve that. Last few months bitterly disappointing. Seems there was a temporary flaw in the grand plan but hopefully company will now move forward even if not in such a grand manner.

cyber and Miss Ann...I did qualify my response with bwtfdik....we don't know, do we.

Let's concentrate on the share price moving forward....though it would be nice if we saw the directors (well, some of them!) now buying.

Zak Mir posted last night it could bounce to 50p although he didn't see how it could happen, I wouldn't be surprised, the market completely overreacted on the temporary problems.

Iodine prices will start rising next year and we will have all 6 plants singing, that will do for me.

Here is a stock capable in making 8p EPS next year, it's looking a bargain at these prices and no cash call necessary on the core business.

Put a banking working capital facility in place, do a JV with one of the bigger iodine producers and we have a licence to print money....

Well done all long termers who have held through the storm

The spread differential is so small that it wouldn`t show on the two decimal places in the share price The whole point in a rollover is to reduce the spread to as close to zero as possible, while still giving the broker his dealing costs, they are usually prepared to drop the cost of the spread to fifty quid, on a million shares their commission on top of that would be considerably attractive, plus a director buy would be announced.

Any its water under the bridge

Have also bought back a few but will never be enough to recover my losses but hope the worst is over and the company can build over the next year or so and you never know could be the next asos?

Warmsun, rollovers of that size normally the shareholder just negotiates a separate fee e.g. 200 quid, rather than a spread.

Numis will have vetted the RNS very carefully (line by line) and in particular the funding comments. They will have done their very best to ensure that it is accurate as they get egg on their face if it proves over optimistic.

I feel better and am pleased that I picked up a few more yesterday at what I feel sure will prove a bargain price. I was stopped out of a smallish spread bet at a significant loss because I was on holiday when the sh*t hit the fan so all gains will now be gratefully received

"We are working with the Operator to re-route brine water to affected plants in order to obtain consistent brine throughput"
Looks like the brine supply problem will be resolved too!
Had same issue with plant 2 and resolved it, so bodes well.

Well resisted and filtered the fool but did read his 100's of posts per day behind the scenes on the facility available., to get a flavour (strange similarities to others)

A chancer that does the same on many threads.

Well bad robot, with your timing it turned out to be a bad romance.

Now really must buzz off, long drive today.

Why doesn`t it look like a rollover then, the sell element before re- buying certainly panicked the horses for sure.

Off up again.

ammons,
correct, they got the bad news out first, because the results with what we knew from last Decembers RNS are actually not too bad.

We have a good business that the Japanese will be keen to takeover at some stage.

If we weren't limited by cash, we could be rolling out 6-9 plants a year - just think what that would mean to a Jap outfit if we partnered with one or alternatively they might want all the pie to themselves.

At this price, the Japanese will be putting feelers out, I wouldn't be surprised at a takeover approach.

I feel we should move up to 50p based on next years earnings target of 8p, all our problems are temporary.

I has few messages wondering if the no financing needed line was a mistake.

Apparently not, Numis have covered it in a note just out, I don't have a view of it but heard it's covered in there.

The water date before that becomes a date is just a way of getting the box filled in to show a hearing has been requested, the arrangements for an actual date will be sorted and guidance re that has been mentioned.

Numis, the company's brokers, have reiterated their buy rating over night. That's after temporarily pulling it whilst they looked into the situation following the production issue. Clear confidence post examination there.
