Fresh,my very thoughts and I wonder how Stenna would stand with CF on their payroll? My worry is IOF is a "leaky" stock and share price movement is reflecting this.

Bobbyshilling, From the RNS "We wish him continued success in his business ventures" does not sound like he is retiring. However I agree Dr Bellamy looks a good appointment and you have to think it bodes well for the water permit being granted. Hopefully CF's resignation as Director of the company is nothing more than him being based in the UK was not ideal. The appointment of a new Director of the company based in the USA may well improve things going forward.

Presumably, Bill Bellamy was fully briefed on the prospects of IOF before he accepted his directorship. He won't be very pleased if he wasn't! The CEO was also fulsome in his praise for Dr. Fay and his contribution to a solid future for IOF. It was also indicated that the financial situation was favourable after the extension of the bond. All the signs seem to indicate a positive output or are we clutching at straws?

Is this week another vicious bear raid?

Only time will tell! And not much time before some news, good or bad, should be forthcoming.

If you as the board wanted to take the company private with a MBO you couldn't have done better with the share price if you wanted.

Trav5, but then, by the same token, why would Bill Bellamy join the company? Dr, Fay is 69, so I would imagine he is retiring.

Something stinks,CF was the only buyer of stock and he jumps ship.Water permit value 80p on SP,yet we languish around 60p.
Am I missing something?

Unfortunately due to its shrinking market cap IOF dropped out of the FTSE AIM 100 yesterday which may partly explain the weak share price today. IMO the resignation of Dr Fay is a far bigger worry and you have to wonder what is going on at the company that we are not privy too.

I am waiting for positive news on the water permit before adding here, because if we get that, then sure, the share price will rise, but these should still be able to be picked up for a good price.

Roger Melly, two weeks because I spoke to one of them last week and was told 9th April we'd be told and it all seemed good to him and that's good enough for me.

Captain Kurt. Thanks for the email addresses. I have sent emails asking for an update. Will be interesting to see if either responds.Given the share price falls over the last couple of days I worried that people have been selling on inside info, eg a possible share placing. I hope I am wrong.

The market isn't stupid, it saw the loan extended by 2 years and then the sudden loss of CF... and smelt medium-term cash-flow problems.

Couple that can of worms with the sub-£100m ii 'threshold' issue, then chuck in the TA supports in the 40's then 30's and you have a right olde s/t mess.

Is it fatal? Not yet.

An update without some hard numbers will not help. They should save those until they can update on production, cash position as well. If there are no numbers it just looks like they are hiding something and are just muddying the water.

Well if they were going to go for a fund-raising why oh why did they not do it last year the longer they take the greater dilution.

I'm starting to get the deja vu PDX feeling, which luckily I stayed well clear of, but chart looks very similar, just hope this doesn't go the same way.

Such a drop signals a bad RNS in the post, but my dog hasn't barked today?

Really confused, wonder where Shonny gets his info from?
He must be REALLY RICH having shorted this all the way down.
