31/10/2013 07:08 | RNS. IO3 fully commissioned and IO2 brine off the chart! License to print money! | hurricane.
31/10/2013 07:07 | Announcement: "Commenting on today's news, newly appointed CEO George Lantz, said: "We are very pleased to have IO#3 on line. Our construction and fabrication teams have built a state of the art facility which enables optimized production of iodine and a low number of staff to operate the facility. We are looking forward to steadily increasing production as additional plants come on line." IO#2 supply must be more than it can cope with, fantastic! | ![]() che7win
31/10/2013 07:06 | Baguette, I think the only pictures of interest werer the IO#3 ones, the others are old and of no interest to me. I'm impressed with the pictures for the opposite reasons some may be. I don't want fancy facilities, these facilities are functional, simplistic and easy to replicate in a rollout. If I say a fountain out front, I would be dubious of the management.... IO#3, we have already been told the plant is complete. My last correspondence from them said: "As for #4, #5 and #6 we continue to work diligently to get them on line as soon as possible. As we have announced, all the procurement has been completed and we are working on site development." So the equipment is all there and being built. There is also a new regime in place, I would give some time before recognising how this changes the announcements made. It's a under promise and over deliver procedure from here on. | ![]() che7win
31/10/2013 06:40 | Cool hand 'Delayed io3 update' ?? They have said it's built and would be up and running this month in the last update. The only update left would be to declare bpd and yields etc if they wish to do so. We know from old comments that it can take 30 days to get to full bpd. It starts with testing then an increase over the weeks of BPD. Each site will be unique in the chemical make up of the brine, so IOF will work to optimise what they need to add in the chemical mix to maximise yields. BAG Chill. The website isn't great, they are aware of that and are working on it. IO3 appearing in photos is far better than some guys having fun with a lighter, and a picture of a cow. There are some absolutely fantastic websites around for some dog shares. | ![]() superg1
31/10/2013 06:16 | There was an operational update on 9 October. Good one I thought. We are not yet even in November. I assume that the words "lack of news" means a desire for another RNS update when we had one lass than a month ago? How often do investors expect to be updated? Weekly? | ![]() ammons
31/10/2013 00:35 | Noli: that picture is worth a thousand words :-) sandbag: your analysis of the plant design is extremely useful to those with no knowledge of the subject :-) Could you please go a further step and identify the individual plant components in the photo? tia Gives me confidence that these things can indeed be built quickly while keeping the CAPEX low! | engelo
31/10/2013 00:32 | Lib: Surely you meant 'When you have a good old moan they seem to put out an update so I will moan in anticipation.' | engelo
31/10/2013 00:23 | Quite a few here have cut their teeth on FUM Bag, now there is a share that requires patience, IOF is supersonic in comparison. When you have a good old moan they seem to put out an update so I will wait in anticipation. | the librarian
31/10/2013 00:13 | Baguette - I'm not posting much these days either. There's not really much point in adding opinions or speculation. What we need are facts. Even better would be figures, but we won't see those until next spring. There will inevitably be drift in the share price in the absence of news, but that doesn't mean that there's anything seriously wrong. There could be of course, but, the simple absence of news doesn't actually mean that there is. I really think that we must just be patient, no matter how frustrating the current absence of news may be. If there is some delay, because of hold-ups in the supply of equipment, say, then Iofina clearly have no control over this and should not be attacked because of it. We live in the real world and this kind of thing can happen. Whether or not that has actually happened I have no idea. As far as I know at this point nothing has happened to undermine my reasons for investing here. Until we have some firm news directly from the company we are all just whistling in the dark, so let's at least try to whistle a happy tune, eh? | roboben
31/10/2013 00:08 | BAG, I actually sympathise with your feelings about the SP, but then I looked at IO3, and I actually am very impressed with the look and scale of the site. I am sceptical as to whether one new IO plant can be launched every fortnight to year end. I am also concerned as to the effect that could have on the SP, as today I slipped back underwater again... not a nice feeling. However, as we are always told, its not about the next 8 weeks, its about PPM/BPD and the next two to three years. So, I shall push aside any pessimistic short term urges. | ![]() festario
30/10/2013 23:46 | BAGUETTE: I'm fast losing faith in you because you are beginning to sound like N3theyLucas and some of the other derampers. I'm now wondering if you have an agenda. | ![]() roundup
30/10/2013 23:15 | Yes I said I would not post again but am so amazed at the comments re: "very impressive facilities". A slit in the ground - some water coming out of a pipe - a truck - an old picture of some staff - a bit of steelwork and shuttering open to the skies - only io3 looks of any consequence at all. Does this really represent a £1/4 billion company. No wonder the share price is hanging in the balance. Do management really care to give us a bit more faith than these dismal little offerings on their website People telling us they "really don't care about slippage" when management "promises" of only a month or so ago are looking highly dubious. Still no update. Am I the only person hanging on to my full investment who is fast beginning to lose faith in this situation. | baguette
30/10/2013 22:51 | Great job Noli, thanks. | ![]() rogerbridge
30/10/2013 22:49 | Thanks Noli: Although it's not possible to tell if all plant and equipment is there at least what we can see surprises me in the simplicity of design and construction. Nothing difficult in putting these things together. Open bermed and lined reservoir for water storage, FRP vessels, absolute minimum of concrete pads, no tarmac roads or drainage, plastic pipework (looks to be about 12" diameter, much easier and cleaner to construct than steel): Apart from deliveries of specific items I can't see any problems for future completions | ![]() sandbag
30/10/2013 22:19 | bit concern with the share price slippage and the delayed IO3 update comments pls | ![]() cool hand kev

30/10/2013 21:37 | Thanks, noli. IO3 certainly looks tidy and finished. Commissioning and production news soon, hopefully. And IO4 close behind. | ![]() worraps
30/10/2013 21:35 | I believe so SG, can't be long now for an update on that one. | ![]() noli

30/10/2013 19:08 | It was probably a sell. At 13:32 on 28th the limits were 183.75 - 185.0 | ![]() obbig60
30/10/2013 18:26 | It's a late reported trade guys, could have been a sell... | the librarian
30/10/2013 18:23 | Good spot nelly - and as you say at a significant premium : 28-Oct-13 13:32:58 183.30 100,000 Buy* 177.50 178.00 183.30k Interesting indeed. Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve |
