Is that IO3 supply what is going to the SWD, or what they expect IO3 to process?

If you are saying they expect IO3 to process 45k bpd of water, that is amazing news

As was said at the London presentation, CF chose the site for IO3 to maximise the bpd of brines going in. To test what a plant could manage.

IO2 was a 'cold' site so had to be bought back online, hence the slow ramp up in brine. IO3 is ready to go and the new CEO has confirmed that IO3 will contribute to Iodine production this month.

Hey, Lib, thanks for that! And backed up by jointer13 too. Things I like to hear, good news indeed.

Jointer, that's an amazing figure for io3, I thought the supply would be lower to it.

Just for worraps... I believe that IO3 will soon be fired up with plenty of brine going to it, maybe someone from the Leeds presentation has more information on that ?

The end of another month, and MidStates applied for permits for another eight wells during September. Whilst maintaining a healthy interest around IO#2, there is an increasing emphasis on new wells to the east and north-east in Alfalfa county, and just over the county line in Woods. The FracFocus website is proving to be a better source of up to date completion information on new wells than the OCC website, albeit some results are delayed in appearing. The current situation re 2013 permits looks like this:

There are of course many more drills from the previous three years besides these. It would be interesting to see an up to date satellite image of the southern portion of the lease area (none available as far as I know) – the Dacoma SWD appears of increasing relevance to my eyes.

.... those that I haven't filtered actually make me laugh with their crazy predictions.

You misunderstand. They do not make crazy predictions, they produce disinformation which often works in the short run as fireworks scare birds, but it never can work in the long run. The birds return.,,. Events eventually disprove it - self evident of course - a tautology!

I see the amount short has taken a dive in recent days. Now I wonder why that is?

All eyes on that water permit situation, while it could take weeks, I for the moment don't think it will.

That's not me saying buy, hold or anything else other than passing on my researched thoughts.

I seem to remember some claims of horrendous results, and a blood bath coming. You were warned last time, and look what came.

So if determination to grant does arrive quickly, well ...............

I think it was Scruts that had the site lemming investors.

I have a few shares I'm looking at which look like they could do very well near term.

I have seen a few posts over time, and if some had been true they would cause the share price to blow.

I suggest the market is full of far more waffle than truth, probably 90% plus is waffle, but some waffle has the herd flying in.

So you have to treat all 'info' as waffle until you can prove otherwise.

I have some very interesting 'waffle' to look at right now not IOF related, but worth the effort to see if there is any weight to it.

All of course imo is secondary to IOF right now.

Worraps - I fully sympathise with the emotional traumas that this game can inflict upon anybody. You are not alone in this!

What I would like to reiterate is that your research is sound. The research of so many on this board is sound. In fact, quite exceptionally so! You really can relax if your timescale is more that just a few weeks. The share price will move as the business develops, but it may well not be instantaneous!

On the other hand there does seem to be a political impasse in the USA at the moment and it is very likely to hit their markets hard if it goes on for any length of time. If it does that, ours will be impacted, too. Iofina's share price may escape, then again it may not. These things should not worry you if you are a long-term investor.

Actually, in this context, you don't really have to be a long-term investor to be able to be fairly relaxed over this turmoil. I'm not talking about a 3 to 5 year horizon, which is what everybody says should actually be your timescale if you're investing in shares. I'm talking about 6 to 9 months!!

I still think that there's plenty of scope for share price movements that may cause unnecessary anxiety over the next few weeks, so you may be better off taking a bit of a break. You really do have all the information from the company necessary to allow you to relax now.

To mis-quote anger taxes -

Don't watch this space! (At least for a while!)

"Its easy as it's not about whether PIs believe the lies, but about other PIs thinking others may fear it and sell, so they sell just in case, then those that do fear it see the sells so sell..................... and so the fear and greed cycle does another lap."

And persuading potential 'investors' not to buy?
