Oh dear! Its my boss that bought the shares on Friday. Should have kept quite about Iofina's potential. Still cannot see that trade though.

It's nice to get those results out of the way as officially now all know that things have been going well, with the roll out going along, with good bpd available and growing.

Meetings continue this week, and the old funds and new that had presentations last week can now digest the information. Meanwhile no doubt after the rise a bit of trading will go on.

Besides potential surprises, one likely event near term is the water permit showing as application correct. That should mean it can then move to determination to grant.

It seems we are at the potential application correct decision point. I am very confident the permit will be awarded. There are some basic rules to achieve that, a beneficial need, and demand. IOF have the need and the declared purchasers of the water, so it would seem it's a formality.

What we don't know yet is the hot water/cold water split, JV potential, or an outright purchase of the water division, or parts of it.

I know someone who bought a £100k's worth late Friday pm! Decision based on good interims.

I am not sure what price he paid and whether that trade has been declared yet.

One to watch out for and whether it will have any impact on Monday's price.

Bobsworth,
The 62.5 mt came from the operational update, H2 is too hard to call but I don't see it as high as 280mt.

Thanks everyone for clarifying the source of the H1 62.5 MT.

On that answer I must therefore congratulate Dr AndrewD who predicted in his post on 21 Sep'13 - 09:42 - 8653 of 9152, that the MT output for H1 would be:

quote:

2013
- H1 - IO 1+2 65mt

His prediction for H1 looks to be bang on, with Iofina reporting 62.5 metric tonnes (mt) of crystalized iodine was produced from its plants in H1 2013.

Fingers crossed then that his prediction in the same post for H2 of 280mt iodine will also be bang on giving us a total output for 2013 of 405mt.

Ditto for:
2014 mt of 2370mt – 3495mt
and
2015 mt of 4470mt – 6645mt

I wondered re that but ignored it rather than trying to gloss it up, but yes it would seem to indicate that.

As mentioned previously I have notes at least one decent sized operator laying pipelines for water
