I hadn't realised you were predicting figures in a different currency to that which the company trades and reports in! Anyway good luck going forward, let's just see how the rest of the year unfolds shall we.

Very happy with the RNS and happy with the predicted output.

Under promise and over deliver!

I'm sure they will smash those targets but as we all know there are always minor issues hooking the plants up and you cannot expect them to go at full throttle from day 1.

Well done to all holders - looks like the shorts are getting burnt now!

Iofina unveils record H1 revenues

Iodine exploration and production specialist Iofina has unveiled the strongest first half in the group's history.

Record first half revenues of $11,556,468 were 51% up on last time and the group reports its second consecutive period of positive EBITDA.

Pre-tax losses fell to $122,657 from $969,517 - nearly breakeven per share.

Non-executive chairman Dr. Chris Fay said: "Iofina is now in an excellent position to monetise its proven technology with a total of six IOsorb plants in production by the end of 2013 and a further six planned for 2014.

"Process optimisation at IO#1 and IO#2 continues to produce higher iodine yields and this knowledge and experience will be applied to future plants. The key IOsorb patent was issued in Q2 2013, protecting our significant competitive intellectual property.

"The recruitment of George Lantz and Gary Gatchell as CEO and FD respectively, has added significant experience and leadership to the management team as we now enter what should be a highly exciting period for Iofina shareholders marked by rapid growth as our roll out strategy unfolds

Re the water permit.

There is a factor about todays date, and we have been tracking it very closely indeed.

Hopefully we will have something to report in the next day or two.

after all IOF learned about the new patent from Gad, hence no mention for the mobile patent in the rns.

On the water permit, the first step is application correct. Then comes preliminary determination to grant, which starts the 45 day notice period.

Note IOFs comments re advanced stages. I know that's right and I don't need to ask them.

That engineer report arrived on time as in their rns about it.

Also good to see that the operator put in a 12" brine pipe for IOF to up the supply. They sound as if they are working closely with IOF ... not surprising really when IOF let them know straight away when they are pumping oil to the plants and recover it for them.... good for the operators bottom line and warning system on their separation problems.

To predict turnover within just 7% is bad?

Now, that's £7.18m, 2 years ago you t/over £6m, that's a 20% increase in 2 yrs. Hardly inspiring.

Be interesting to see what the attendee's are able to add. Strange that there was no mention of the leases and oil prospects as outlined by Weil, all seems very hush hush on that front at the moment.
