Anyone else think that these drops are massively overdone? We're 8p away from the April news where this got hammered. From there I believe we have realigned the business. This should be nowhere near 30p. IMHO the board should be releasing production numbers this year and a separate water RNS update once the final outcome is known, if not this is going to keep drifting down.

Kat, In the short term it pays to pump oil from existing installations (extraction cost, say $10, income, $ 60)

From Chairman "Not worried on brine to existing plants at any price."

When you're done kicking the trolls, what do you think the oil price crash will do to the brine feed to IOF plants?

SG, I would very much like to have the opportunity to turn into an idiot, and be despised due to the fortune I made. (or even more of an Idiot perhaps.

On the flip side, the other guy I knew very well who made a fortune over an idea turned, into an idiot now despised by most that know him. Got his money, ran up debts to the wrong type of folks, in the wrong EU countries, and they had their pound of flesh.

From experience money changes most decent folks into unrecognisable morons.

But there is always an exception. That guy at darts years ago, a quiet unassuming chap running his book for horses in the local pub and a dart team member.

He took it online when the web came and I think the figure he got was £80 million. He didn't change, still the same quiet bloke that plays darts. The one change is that he saw some potential in the players and sponsors one in competitions across Europe, taking his fellow dart players on his private jet to watch him play.

Same chat, same beer, same pub, and still a genuinely nice bloke, who doesn't get drunk and spout off about how great he is, belittling those all around him.

I don't know what the topic is but I note he is on QFI too. Perhaps nelly's post indicates some sort of delight and celebration for the losses of others.

It's been a common theme for years.

I recall claims of having more money than the lot of us put together.

I don't give a damn what trolls make or don't in their investments, but I think it's important to them that we should have an interest, thus it needs repeating for their benefit and insecurity.

So well done if you are doing well ACT, give yourself a pat on the back. What use is it for a guy clearly as mixed up and as unhappy as you. With a self-portrait (from your posts) of a lonely, foul-mouthed, drunk.

Merry xmas.

To me this plunge in the share price looks more like a generalised reaction to companies involved in or associated with fracking due to the oil price slump. What is the expected effect of the oil crash on the brine feed to IOF plants? How long would low prices need to persist for our feedstock co's to shut off their wells and go into hibernation?

I don't know why you asked we all know Jeff resigning is your fault. Stick some cactus spiked titanium opposable thumbs in the upright position on their chairs. Distract them with your favourite Perry Como song (magic...... moments....filled, with, love.) while they take their seat.

The company doesn't need any money, it is cashflow positive from current operations... and management have said they intend to seek a JV for the water project so no cash needed there either...

Those points were less commonly known than water talks currently in play.

The outcome of the water permit doesn't affect any potential timeline re news on talks. It would be nice for once if something like that would catch the market cold.

Hence Jeff can't trade, and why would he want to sell under those circs. No doubt he will have also been involved in the strategic review.

The funds have known for some time, I assume some may have chatted to him at the AGM or it came out later in September presentations.

For the AGM it's a choice whether folk turn up to engage, I know you have made the effort in the past so no reference to you in that line.

I try to attend any event for shares I'm invested in or looking at.

Thus it has been known for some time that Jeff was looking to be leaving. He never really did a lot at IOF and didn't expect to.

With Tom and Lance now working together with Forest and Bill on the water side he is a bit of a loose part.

The slot I suspect will be filled by someone in the UK, as that was chatted about earlier this year too.
