Rampers lol.

Constantly looking for the tripwire and sharing what is found is ramping is it ???

We'll see what pops up, shall we.

If I recall you were part of the big black hole in the accounts brigade pre results.

Where was it. ???

Are you part of the patent won't be achieved lot?

It's another PDX lot?

Now it's just 'Bad news coming'

Boy you guys really know your stuff. lol

John

I have a good memory and some names you mention and others, seem to be able to change their view their very strong view to the downside or upside at the drop of a hat.

Had I followed any of the earlier tips I'd be well out of pocket.

IOF very recently was pushed as a quadruple dip sell, or something like that, but it climbed very well. Then at 240 plus positioned for the surge, now down.

Many TA guys claim new doesn't move prices, so what happened.???

Cupid they were saying short the butt off it at 150 and it's risen over 20 points.

I think with many TA guys they are just chasing too many stocks and there can be a very good reason why a share is at 'the bottom' or 'top' with imminent events set to send them in the same direction.

So I'd much rather go via the fundamental route to understand a share, then apply TA for timing.

The tow I mentioned recently by looking at the business were ITM Power and Pure circle.

I thought the market had not fully considered ITM news, the TA looked good for a buy too, so I did and it worked. A quick trade.

The other was a look at pure circle as it was flying, but it looked like Jam tomorrow and maybe only a thin layer of it anyway, so called it as one to watch as it must turn.

Pure circle has turned, but calling the top carries a degree of luck with such a strong rise.

Nano is the same that was pushed in May, but to me the Jam for now is too far off and should drop. Some were saying buy or they will be paying £2 plus, it's dropped.

Perhaps it's just luck, or a different logic to make those calls.

Personally think it's just down to many over-analysing the TA side, with little respect for the fundamentals.

Yes money can be made through momentum shares and trading them, but I doubt those that trade commit enough to a share, to make returns comparable with solid research and commitment combined with a little TA consideration.

Lot's of TA ignoring what the position of the company must catch many out at times.

That's goes for short and long. Both ways I look at what some are saying and think, 'jeez you are brave'

But, then I realise, they are not brave, but blind to the risk.

I'm not too worried what TA says about IOF either way, positive or negative, the fundamentals are very strong as should be proved near term.

The rampers have suddenly gone quiet as the share price takes another dive. Oh dear, must be bad news in the offing.

SG: you're managing my expectations :-) CEO appointment would be great: unlikely to fit with timing, but could get indications of progress/imminent announcement. Think there will be something new though, or it will all be a bit flat.

Any news on presentations to IIs?

Although the drop on the resignation news was not as big as the earlier taking a rest RNS it seems to be taking longer to recover. Hope some positive news on Wednesday.

Might be too soon but as markets do not like uncertainty I would love them to announce the appointment of our new CEO.

superg1, iodine deficiency has been on the rise since the 1950's, which is when for laughable 'safety' reasons, iodine was no longer allowed to be used as the main dough conditioner in bread making.

I was just looking for how H1 has been going, with the various bits around it seems like it should be positive.

Indications that the roll out in H2 looks set to be delivered will be good confirmation of what has been suggested.

Other bits could just pop up out of the blue

If I was setting the date for the AGM would plan to have something to announce either Tues or Weds.

Can't count on water. Can't count on the patent either. So update on I02? Not enough punch. So good news on progress of I03 and I04, plus reaffirmation of 2013 rollout schedule, is the minimum imo.

Lib,
I asked Scotty, he says the answer to your question in post 2009 is:

E=mc2-V/3.146 divided by Avogadro's number and multiplied by the velocity of light in furlongs/second.

The list goes on gad, Iodine proves itself across many tech advances as the best to use, so looking long term there will be many more essential uses in the future.

Many non-essential uses were stripped out during the price hike, but demand is still on the up. It hit $100 per kg at one point and now seems to have settled around $60kg.

Iof don't need those levels to be highly profitable. In a year or 2 assuming a ramp up in production, they could squeeze the price, to push others out of the market.

That's the beauty of iodine, it is in many applications and products. Other than a quick blip in the market crash, demand has marched upwards. That's with a few products like sterilisers that used alternatives.

If the price drops the demand in that sector comes back, and so on. If the price drops smaller Chile mines are on losses. So for the medium term it seems decent prices will stay around.

The main factor I can see on the market than can affect prices right now is Iofina.

Sirocco can increase a bit more, so can Algorta. Sqm don't want to, to protect the price.

For those attending the AGM, could someone ask if the half-year to end of June is going to be good, very good or exceptional? Thanks.

Super,
Post 1998) Iodine fueled plasma generators linked to electrostatic thrusters is a bit above my head, perhaps you should refer it to Scotty ('the engines canna take any more captain') on the Enterprise!
