IES - Longspur Research note. FURTHER TRACTION IN NORTH AMERICA Invinity is seeing further traction in North America with a new sale of its VS3 flow battery in California for delivery this year. The 4MWh sale is to PowerFlex, part of EdF Renewables North America, and represents a second sale within the broader EdF Renewables group following the 5MWh Oxford Superhub deployment in the UK. In California, it follows the recent delivery of a the similar but larger 10MWh sale to the Viejas project. We see the deal as helping to derisk our revenue forecast for the year. 4MWh Sold in California The batteries are to be part of a micro-grid including the expansion of an existing solar PV array and will provide dispatchable, on demand power to the Harrah's Resort Southern California casino owned by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians. The project is funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC) and the batteries are expected to be delivered before the end of 2024. The CEC also supported the Viejas project and we see flow batteries as an ideal solution for California's PV market. Flow batteries can allow solar shifting of power generated from PV projects from the daytime to the evening period of peak demand. Strong Support for Long Duration Storage California is already seeing strong deployment of lithium-ion batteries, with 7.3GW of battery capacity deployed, more than any other US state. However, lithium-ion struggles to economically provide longer duration storage or high cycling, and this is where Invinity's flow batteries provide a solution. We see this as explaining the California Energy Commission's support and it is now one of the leading funders of long duration energy storage with US$140m provided in 2022/23 and with US$190m programmed in the 2023/24 State Budget.

This sentence from the RNS this AM struck me as interesting:

"The California Energy Commission is also one of the leading funders of non-lithium-ion long duration energy storage (LDES), having already provided support worth $140m to various projects in the State throughout 2022-23 and has $190m worth of funding programmed for in the 2023-24 State Budget."

Good news I guess. An interesting question would be how fast they can fulfil the remaining 90% of the base considering current capacity which may be the driver of order delivery until the new facility comes on line. This may still be a slow burner but it all seems more positive this morning. Of course it will be lovely to see the base refilling in tandem.

It sounded like some customers needed the confidence that invinity wasn't about to go under! Which they now have

Invinity's funding. I think it was mentioned in the first VSA podcast after the funding was finalised

When they said until funding is sorted, did they mean IES's funding, or the funding of the prospective customers?

It was still 49.8 as of RNS of 25th a April which means all those short term likely sales haven't gone anywhere. VSA capital, the broker, stated that a number of prospective customers has been holding off finalising until funding was sorted. Which it is now and we are starting to see the beginnings of the conversion of that backlog.

I note that the base figure in the commercial pipeline as at November 2023-the latest for which I can find figures- was 49.8MWH which makes one wonder what has happened to all these base sales.
All will he revealed in the year end figures on the next fortnight.

Invinity Energy Systems plc (AIM: IES) (AQSE: IES) (OTCQX: IESVF), a leading global manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage, is pleased to announce a 4 MWh sale to PowerFlex, part of EDF Renewables North America. The batteries will be used in a California Energy Commission-funded solar microgrid project being undertaken by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians. How many of these sales will it take to turn this around?

Megaman, as thread "owner" I get to moderate this one thread. If someone comes on here repeatedly telling lies, swearing or just overposting nonsense then I'll moderate them, no problem. Considering this is one of the very few on this thread I have had to act in 4 years, personally its hardly a problem, and there have been countless posts deriding the bad situation Invinity have got themselves into.

The reason I have this "privilege" is down to paying for live trading, hence the Blue name, same for all the premium accounts on here.

I asked to be pm'd purely because I am not holding shares in Invinity so I am not too focussed on the thread.

Looking interesting here and potentially a very good entry price at a 20% discount to the recent placing. I've watched this for a while but never taken a position. I think the recent news and potential newsflow over the next 6 months could drive the share price much higher from here. Possibly a long term hold depending on developments. Also like the hammer created on the chart on high volume yesterday suggesting possible bottom. Will keep researching over the weekend but looks likely I'll be joining you guys on Monday :)

Post to admin if you dont like a post.simples. it starts like this next thing people are trying to control the narrative by reporting to admin claiming special relationships. ...seen it before ..

There is also a thing called the filter button

There are many more teams of rampers out there losing people a fortune on moderated groups like telegram and LSE ...any negative comments here have for the most been correct so far ....

See hopes already twisting it for misinformation ..

If its for misinformation should I pm zero hopes posts where he just makes stuff up..see if he can adjudicate or use his special contacts ..

Your not too bothered about negative opinions ?? Why would they be moderated ...

It's weird you even wrote that it should go without saying ..a person's opinion on the stock could be even considered to be moderated ...why not also write you are not too bothered about daft rampers..

So you are a little bothered ..

It's ironic you write that on a stock that has fallen from 239 to 18 p....

You are insinuating you are a moderator ? Or have a special relationship with admin .and you can determine the criteria for moderation...why can't people email admin direct ? Do you get gold stars or something ? Support@advfn.com

I really really do hope that advfn are not giving certain posters preferences as you imply ..or you want some kudos as a vigilante protector
Agree completely with the poster being removed but I'm not happy with people suggesting they have some special relationship with admin . Seen that before on LSE .

Ive messaged admin to clarify why someone is posting and telling people to moderate via them . Even an inkling that moderation can be used to control a narrative by some should be immediately quashed regardless of your intention .
