06/8/2024 07:38 | Well Citi says it's a done deal even though the inquiry hasn't happened, the USO has been sorted or shareholders haven't voted. There ya go! Really?? | isis
02/8/2024 11:09 | When these were floated there should have been a clause in the USO to make changes if there were a big slump in Mail. I suppose it has been far more brutal than anticipated and further diminished by Covid. Almost everything can be done electronically now. Concert and Travel Tickets are done online now, even all the Loyalty Cards are phones and Marks refuses to issue Sparks Cards now. Even in the darkest depths of Third World Countries they are sporting a Smart Phone. | isis
02/8/2024 11:02 | I doubt DK will give up that easily as Billionaires tend to be pretty resilient and forceful. Also RM is could be worth upto £5billion on it's own in the right circumstances. | isis
02/8/2024 10:21 | All done. Trade 130,258,278,405 and 455. Total is £29,178.14. Price paid £17993. Profit for 2 years of CWU related stress = £11,185. The very best of luck to all holders. For your sake I hope Kretinsky gets the big no no from the Government, the USO is changed in favour of RM and the shares fly back to a fiver. From a personal point of view I hope he gets the go-ahead, takes on the Union morons and destroys them, and takes the company to where it belongs, massively in profit, streamlined and ultra-efficient. It's been emotional, NMRN | not my real name
02/8/2024 05:03 | . Deal to be called in for scrutinisation the government could decide to block it | spob
01/8/2024 15:18 | Royal Mail deal to be probed over Russia links | nakedmolerat
01/8/2024 15:13 | hotshot6, Only news is this which I found tucked in the middle of todays declarations. "Level of acceptances As is required pursuant to Rule 17 of the Takeover Code, Bidco announces that, as at 3.00 p.m. on 31 July 2024 (being the last Business Day prior to the date of this announcement), valid acceptances of the Offer had been received in respect of a total of 39,398,969 IDS Shares, representing approximately 4.11% of IDS' issued share capital." 01/8/2024 13:40 | Is Daniel increasing his bid? | hotshot6
01/8/2024 13:38 | Is their any news ?I see a lot of activity | hotshot6
28/7/2024 18:02 | The Boards refusal to put a valuation on RM or it's assets is a total disgrace and their advisors too! | isis
28/7/2024 16:55 | City investors are to vote against Daniel Kretinsyy's 'grubby deal' there's nothing to like and it undervalues the company's true worth. He'll have to sweeten the offer considerably to get investors onside. The risk is always he walks away. Interesting times. I'm not voting for it. | leadersoffice
26/7/2024 16:58 | RM should be worth a lot more than Evri. The Board is a disgrace and should be sacked! | isis
26/7/2024 12:32 | In the year to 25 February 2023, the parcel delivery giant saw revenue flatline at £1.464m (2022: £1.465m) while pre-tax profit tumbled by 56% to £51m (2022: £117m). In addition, net debt has risen almost tenfold to £1.3bn under Advent's ownership, boosted by higher interest costs.12 Feb 2024 Probably more debt than RM too without all the assets! something wrong here. | isis
26/7/2024 12:27 | RM is way bigger than Evri. No wonder he's so keen on getting it, could be worth £5billion on it's own with USO reforms and some tweaks. | isis
26/7/2024 12:19 | Hard to believe EVRI is worth nearly £3billion and RM valued at almost nothing. Bit Smelly that! | isis
26/7/2024 12:04 | I’ve been offered two options from my broker. 1-Tender my shares to receive 3.60 per share. 2-No action (Default) Not sure what the Default option entails. I plan to call Monday for clarification. | rudder
26/7/2024 09:07 | Inching closer to the Bid price, only 25pts off including the Dividend. | isis
25/7/2024 06:27 | Less than 4pc of the 72pc of IDS that Kretinsky did not own before he bid for the company has accepted the offer so far. That tells its own story, not least given that the offer doc says the deal timelines can be brought forward if enough people accept. | pdosullivan |
