Div nearly 4 x covered so could easily increase it significantly.Pay down more debt.Probably staying cash rich for further acquisitions.Makes 4 x the profit of EZJ yet only worth double.1 company in growth mode, the other treated like a boring utility.

There is a problem with the divi of course, if the share price keeps increasing.
The higher the share price the lower the divi return.
So you are correct that there will be pressure on IAG to increase the divi, or provide another method to entice investors.

Just don't think the markets like IAG that much.Maybe they could bump the dividend a bit (lot). Pay a special div?

EZJ much better for IAG .
I have no idea why IAG are struggling , unless the MM's are keeping the shares low to help the share buy back ?

Great Q1 results, positive April traffic Stats , makes little sense not to see the share price well above 700.

Looks like the MM's are determined to keep this below 700 for the moment.
Amazing to watch the candles go up and then in seconds go down by the same amount LOL.

IAG are 70% hedged for 2018 with regard to fuel, so any oil rise should be limited for this year.
Norwegian are only 25%hedged apparently , so not in such a good position

Last year I think they bought 3.4%.
With 7B in cash they will have to do something with it soon.

Every little buyback helps.Or not in the case of Lloyds.Pity they're buying back with the shares at an all time high but the current valuation is still cheap (probably one of the lowest P/E in the whole FT100) so it could be worse!

Looks like 'The Chump Effect' has had an impact with oil prices increasing.
Fortunately IAG has hedged 70% of it's fuel for the whole of 2018.
I suspect this might help focus the mind of Kjos though, with Norwegian a lot more exposed to increasing fuel costs.

I think Norwegian could be a good fit for IAG and help the share price if there is a speedy deal. If it drags out I am not so sure.
I also wonder if Kjos is angling for a position within the IAG board ?
Fingers crossed for a quick outcome, .as the share price is in positive territory atm.
After losing the Niki Air deal, I also suspect that Walsh would like to clinch this one.

That's what I thought...sounds like Mr Kjos is not adverse to the idea of a sale, potentially inviting IAG to make a formal bid.

I suspect he has only had the one offer atm.
