Don't worry Qatar have a bad human rights record maybe BA want to employ the same tactics towards its low paid Mixed Fleet Crew so should fit in nicely.

Looks like BA have paid off the press once again what's happened to the rns. Fair Wage to live on for Mixed Fleet Crew rather than feeding the corporate greed enjoyed by the board .

Phil

Check the website - I am off to Toronto on 26th, but long haul are fine.

I have to say, I travel a lot with business and I have all but stopped using BA. I would live to, but they are a lot more expensive all the time.

I tried to redeem some avios the other month and a flight with air canada was still cheaper than only the taxes and charges on BA.

They need to man up or they are going to lose custom long term.

'British Airways cabin crew to strike'

British Airways cabin crew have voted overwhelmingly for strikes in a dispute over pay, the Unite union says.

More than 2,000 workers were balloted about the action, which will take place at Heathrow Airport. It comes after cabin crew rejected a 2% pay rise offer.
The action will begin after 21 December and Unite will meet in the coming days to finalise dates.

It did not say whether the strike will affect travellers over Christmas.

British Airways owner International Airlines Group has climbed 12p to 444.5p after Panmure analysts began coverage, saying:

IAG probably merits core holding status in this space given strong market positions and management track record. We are cautious on UK demand, and our flattish 2017 profit forecast, although free cash flow of 12% is attractive. We are wary of cost saving and shareholder return expectations running high whilst the new BA Captain [Alex Cruz] has it all to prove. We initiate with a hold rating and 450p target price.
