Hospital beds are now at HALF the level of occupancy they were a month ago.
Admissions have also halved
New cases down >80%

Even without a vaccine last Summer cases and admissions across the whole of the UK dropped to the hundreds.

The UK Govt will have to reopen sooner rather than later - the public is already fed up. I would not rule out major anti-lockdown protests if this carries on much longer.

"As an AAT accountant working in the logistics sector"

On Georges salary ,which he has often quoted I suspect Canvey Island..
Must be the only "qualified" accountant earning less than a full time postman..
Give it a rest you lunatic. You will go when you are allowed to, like the rest of us.
sooner the better..I recommend Iran for you or maybe Haiti. Yemen is cheap these days..

As an AAT accountant working in the logistics sector; We have seen large amounts of cargo going through IAG, I suspect the next set of results will include these stats. With regards Borris, I have already booked myself a luxury holiday with IAG, I'll be going; Borris can get stuffed!DYOR

sparty.....majority should have had second jabs by end April.
Checking for the vaccination would be no more difficult than checking to see if you have been vaccinated for smallpox.
It is all in the yellow International Vaccination certificate that we used to carry .

m1...you get vaccinated and don't get ill but you could be carrying the virus and pass it along to somebody else who might not be vaccinated...stand to be corrected if mis understood...

firstly ,very few have had 2 jabs ..required for protection as proscribed. Secondly ,it takes the first jab 3 weeks to be fully effective or give any proper protection.
thirdly, the logistical nightmare of checking covid passports ,dates ,type of jab, how many jabs, etc.. would be a nightmare. Furk it .I`m not going anywhere until the whole situation calms down and I`m not going unless I can pay upper class which will make the whole poxy ordeal a lot pleasanter.. Furk cattle class.

It makes no difference where you are going or where you have come from, as long as you can confirm you have been vaccinated and you test negative.
Either the vaccine works or it doesn't.

Still can't understand why market cap 7.5 billion seems ridiculous to me.Way to high in my opinion.

Think the problem is the destination Country...the proportion of people vaccinated...

Covid passports are the only solution, just like for smallpox, Cholera etc.
UK GOV is burying it's head in the sand if they think that people are going to continue not being allowed to travel , when the most vulnerable and 30% - 40% of the population have been vaccinated.

Those who have been vaccinated should be allowed to travel and I suspect that is what will be agreed.
