Telegraph market report:

Airlines remained under pressure amid worries that the rising oil price driven by the violence in Iraq will push up fuel costs.

Low-cost airline easyJet slid 29p to £14.23 and International Airlines Group , the owner of British Airways and Iberia, slipped 4.7 to 379.9p. The cancellation of flights because of a strike by French air traffic controllers also dented sentiment towards the airlines.

Away from the influence of Iraq, one of the top risers on the FTSE 100 was International Consolidated Airlines Group after it announced that it had sold its 5pc stake in regional carrier Flybe.

I think 360p will be easily held, I would be very surprised to see 350p so soon. That will come in due course -- need the interest rates to rise in Q3.

The break of 200-ma implies a fall below 300p in the next 6-months.

Think we will see that additional 4% off the share price to 360 next week.

Maybe a pop to 350 on stops hit.

Yep, seems too volatile. (edited) gone long at 377p.
We may go below 360p, but I hope in the medium term all the brokers are proven somewhat correct in their "targets".

Aer Lingus has issued a profit warning. The Irish carrier has warned that profits will be between 10pc and 20pc lower due to a drop in bookings. It has blamed the recent strike threats for driving away customers.

closed my short positions at 400p -- IAG are a bit volatile, almost a day trading share for me. Will look at these when they get back to 420p or 380p.
