20/11/2013 10:16 | as long as the fundies are solid/good, then you can then turn to the technicals. I simply look for change of down or up trends through resistance/support, and double tops and bottoms (breakouts and breaks), usually signified by daily spikes on the candles in consecutive days.. keep it simple, ive seen far too many ppl almost read tea leaves within charts... theres 3 trends at any one time: short, medium and long. invest in the medium/long term, but trade the short, and also use for long term entry. :-) | leeson31
20/11/2013 10:03 | I study the candlestick patterns intensely, so am looking for some, one, or all of these in the very near future..! Bullish Engulfing (preferably MASSIVE) * Piercing Pattern * Bullish Harami * Hammer (preferably MASSIVE) * Inverted Hammer * Morning Star * Bullish Abandoned Baby Fundamentals? OK, can't be ignored can they....for more than about six moths usually! | nofool

19/11/2013 20:21 | Great idea. I once lived close to the flight path into Heathrow, and often looked up and wondered where the plane had just flown in from.. Can't wait to refer now to those digital bill boards, next time I'm in Londinium! | nofool
19/11/2013 19:51 | :-D BA claims marketing first with 'magic' campaign 19 November 2013 British Airways' new 'magic of flying' adverts aim to engage with people via interactive billboards in Chiswick and Piccadilly. The airline claims the campaign which seeks to remind people how 'magical' flying can be is a 'marketing first'. It said: 'The campaign will immediately engage with customers as the adverts, located on digital billboards in Chiswick and Piccadilly, will actually interact with the aircraft flying overhead, thanks to surveillance technology.' The system tracks the aircraft and interrupts the digital display as it passes over the site, revealing the image of a child pointing at the plane overhead accompanied by its flight number and destination it is arriving from. For example the screen may read: 'It's the BA0234 from Los Angeles'. This will then be followed by a message relevant to that flight, in this case 'Fly the new A380 to Los Angeles. ba.com/lookup'. Richard Tams, BA head of UK & Ireland sales, said: 'Sometimes we forget how magical flying can be. 'The first time anyone gets on a plane is an unforgettable experience and we want to remind our customers of that feeling. 'This clever technology taps in to that and reminds people how accessible the world can be.' The idea was conceived by Ogilvy 12th Floor, a group of companies set up by OgilvyOne to handle BA's digital and direct marketing. | philanderer
