05/12/2019 22:51 | montyhedge - please try to be a more decent person. You'll feel better for it. | fjgooner
05/12/2019 21:47 | After the landslide for Tories next week, of course no sane person would vote for Corbyn, the Santa Rally will start, then we get the yes vote to accept deal from pilots. 615p by Xmas.T and C on Monday not expecting much for November, but all in this low shareprice now. | montyhedge
05/12/2019 15:44 | Idt say you should know about the BALPA vote around the time the Tories get a bashing next Friday I just hope Monty doesn't take if out on his Ladyboy friend they don't want any injuries before they set off to Clacton for Christmas. | applepieinthesky
05/12/2019 08:24 | Monday 9th Dec, Traffic and Capacity report, not expecting to much for November? If half decent should give another fillip to the shareprice. | montyhedge
05/12/2019 08:18 | Applelieinthesky the born liar thought you said Cruz was going his still there. Any more porkies you like to tell us. | montyhedge
05/12/2019 08:11 | Yes wages are not as golden as many people make out regarding new pilots | applepieinthesky
05/12/2019 06:21 | Monty that article you're quoting is nearly 3 months old : (From my recent chat with an old friend who is a pilot with BA, is he said that of the 2 pilots that he's friends with who lost their jobs at Thomas Cook, both had job offers fairly swiftly. One starts at Jet2 and one with TUI.When I asked about how many TCook pilots he expected to start at BA, he said neither of his friends applied to BA. BA pays less than most similar sized airlines. On top of that, the cost of either moving to the south east from northern locations is prohibitively economically restrictive or commuting. His view was that IF BA did receive any applications from Thomas Cook or Ryanair pilots, they would probably be just 'iron in the fire' applications, until something better came along. He also said that Ryanair pilots are not trained on the aircraft types that BA have, so would be bonded, which would again restrict pilots from giving BA a go with a high financial penalty if they decided they wanted to leave within 3 years.Conversely, he said that he's flown with pilots who had worked for Ryanair previously that have since left BA to return back there, as they don't spend as much time in their work day at work in Ryanair and get paid more there too with them being junior copilots at BA, rather than getting Captain positions at Ryanair. He said he's spoken with others at BA, especially the more recent joiners to BA, who have live applications in with Ryanair and Jet2.I'm sure ApplePie can add more detail. | take_that
04/12/2019 22:24 | 500 to 700 pilots looking likely to go at Ryanair, more knocking on BA door. BALPA must be worried, if it comes off.https://www.inde | montyhedge
04/12/2019 22:15 | Applepieinthesky, the born liar, any more Watchdog programmes to watch, lol. | montyhedge
04/12/2019 22:06 | The Santa rally I reckon starts 13th December, after Corbyn has been wiped out and pilots vote to accept, then that's it for another 3 years for BA pilots. 728p next year, plus dividends. | montyhedge
04/12/2019 19:24 | So yet again, the pilots get treated differently to the cabin crew, who had to wait a full year to get their concessions restored after the strike in 2010. Will this preferential treatment never end . It just feeds their over inflated egos. | m1k3y1
04/12/2019 18:29 | More pressure on BA pilots to settle.TC pilots on the dole, Ryanair pilots must be worried.BA pilots may be greedy but are not stupid. | montyhedge
04/12/2019 18:16 | Ryanair shuts bases in Germany and Sweden after new 737 Max delay | m1k3y1
04/12/2019 16:33 | Like i said in my view Yes vote 615p and a no vote on accepting the deal 495p. | montyhedge
04/12/2019 16:16 | Looking good boys for the strike vote, get ready for take off. | montyhedge
04/12/2019 15:02 | TY for info | cafc69
04/12/2019 14:09 | Monty again posting his authoritative views like his finger is on the pulse. Unfortunately for Monty, his prediction is somewhat flawed by the fact that I’ve just heard from the horses mouth, that the pilots haven’t even been issued with a vote yet, so absolutely no chance of the result as Monty predicts, early next week. Until the ballot is open, only then will the closing date be known and then its guess work thereafter as to when the result will be announced. Please Monty share facts, or if just your guess, do heavily clarify your posts with reasons for your view, so that any unfamiliar watchers understand that it is totally just a finger in the sky call, rather than being tied to anything real. | take_that
04/12/2019 08:08 | I reckon Friday or Monday result of ballot, yes 615p by Xmas, no 495p.That's my view. | montyhedge
03/12/2019 18:16 | Apple? More like stewed prune. | daveboy1
03/12/2019 16:55 | I filtered Apple after he lied about Watchdog, BA on there he said, we all watched, nothing. The drivel he comes out with. | montyhedge
