Yep nice to see. Just for info there was a strong rumour re tariffs being temporary that got discussed on Newsnight so that provoked my post the other day. It seems it may not be but who knows. Hopefully all will become much clearer over the coming weeks. GLA |

This is also a gap between IAG buying stock from last tranche and starting again tomorrow. That may well kick start price again. And if not at least they are buying at a lower price to cancel. |
Latest indication is we wont be subject to tariffs but who knows what Trump truly means these days. Musk pulling the strings too much for my liking and playing Trump. Thought it was very telling when Trump got vocal about being scammed and aligning himself with Putin. For me out of many things he said when with Zelenskyy he truly stupidly thinks that which is a worry. Right now no one knows if he truly is bluffing to get Putins trust OR he really is looking to pull out of Europe support and next NATO if Musk gets his way. |
How does the tariffs now play into all this - ie if IAG gets circa 30% of its revenues from US trade - do the tariff's affect it or is it a wait and see with regards to any European tariffs to be imposed ? |

It's May 9th the next trading update. For me we do need the geo politics to settle as is behind the drop today. It's just creating too much uncertainty at the moment with poss far reaching consequences if Putin doesnt play ball. All crossed here for better clarity this week. |
