They will and the very basic thoughts around this are clear, how big a company in what shape will be left in 12 months, half the size, then £3, a 1/4 so £1.50 or 3/4 which let's face it will be where the staffing level will be but with more debt but will be flying my guess would be £4.50 with a good tail wind.

To board a jumbo the queue would be 1 kilometre long according to one newspaper. They are joking. No one surely in their right mind will fly until a vaccine.

There can be no comparison between the current Queen of England and any president of the USA. Queen Elizabeth II is the greatest Queen of England since her namesake Elizabeth 1.From the very day the former became Queen of England, she has devoted her whole life to her country and members of the Commonwealth. She alone will and should decide when to hand over the reins.

Investing in survival is a stupid strategy, there are other sectors to stick your money in for the next year or two .. who would want to hold airlines and travel companies other than the mad, or as a quick trade

Take that....I think British Airways have clearly realised that demand will not return for a good while and that restructuring is in order. I think they are taking the right step in announcing this now as it shows the market that they are on top of this and doing the right think to try and ensure that BA get through this.

Will they get fined for wearing masks? Remember we need to see peoples faces and facial expressions are mandatory otherwise the world can't carry on???

France fined lots of women who covered their faces for religious reasons prior to c19

Walsh has been given the run around in recent years by the unions.
last years strike and one planned for Dec 2019 were successful.
He capitulated.
The unions argued that they deserved an increased share of the success.
So they will understand why they must suffer from the failure.

Now he will go on the front foot.
He is holding all of the cards.

He will succeed in downsizing, an opportunity of a lifetime.
the unions ran out of luck.

Air flights & rail travel will plummet as most people will be too afraid to mingle. BTW Warren Buffet has sold all Hathaway's Air stocks

Universities attract vast income from overseas students.
They are losing billions already.
Buy to let investors in university towns have thousands of properties attracting high rents from Chinese students.

If they stop coming altogether or even come in reduced numbers the property market could become a blood bath.

The worse the economy fewer immigrants doing essential lower paid work will return to the EU.
this was already happening but there are being replaced by less useful immigrants from elsewhere

Everything effects everything else. The banks will have impairments.

Economic growth depends upon confidence.
Things look very grim, so we rely on HMG printing money and spending it on infrastructure.

Feeling more like Russia every day.

Ham, very badly you can guarantee it.
But the stupid will continue to invest in other countries rather than their own.
If anything this pandemic should have taught the bright is to invest in the UK first.
Stop outsourcing become self reliant. Enjoy the UK countryside, seaside and towns.
