I wouldn’t be short on budget day. Either big helicopter drop to the markets later today and potential for temporary freeze on APD and other airline duties till this blows over is my predition. Too late to save Flybe though.

Liquidity is the issue, bp down 28%.
Although bp probably has a fair bit of liquidity, but oil the factor there.

Hardly any stocks opened around Europe. Even the Italian MIB is only showing down 0.3%.

You still need to explain what you meant and how such a feat is achieved. If you can...

I do think we will see 2014 low of 315p coming, if Coronavirus gets out of control.

Normally IAG is 85% hedged unfortunately, this price would be good.

Oil price collapse will have a huge impact...I think I saw a report the other day (maybe Friday) that Putin has thrown the towel in on the Saudi Arabia de-facto leader who has arrested other key Royals. His position is delicate to say the least and that could cause wider issues. Not sure how much major airlines have hedged and may want to re-position. The very latest (a few hours ago) virus numbers are improving dramatically in China, and even in Korea and a more modest fall in Iran. However, Italy is a big worry with many individuals/families in restricted zones catching trains and using other routes to escape...this behaviour should have been stopped/controlled. The consequences could be severe, I fear, but certainly worrying. Italy is the big problem...the USA figures are small but not that reliable, so need to watch. US Dow futures look grim for tomorrow's opening. Good wishes to the sensitive posters here...try to be balanced and more calm in your posts...the current issues are potentially very volatile so be a bit more respectful even when taking a negative view on the stock.

31% down. No good for planes if they are not going to use it or stockpile it

Brent Oil prices are collapsing. 19% down today, after heavy drops late Friday.

Could be good for airlines tomorrow.

Apple......how exactly are you able to access the load factors with IAG.

You only ever seem to appear when you want to post negative news.

Things looking dire seen load factors and it ain't looking good closing up Italy France Germany and Spain will follow soon the UK seems to have got off lightly so far. So 350 is not looking too far away with lots of parked up planes how will the headless chicken leadership react .
