We all know how quickly IAG shareprice runs up or down in big movements.If market worries continue this week and it look like it, 565p likely in my view.

From a trading point of view, if 600p broken, I see 585p, quite quickly. Shareprice was running out of steam at 625p before the brown stuff hit the fan on Iran, oil price hike, some holiday destinations will be off limits, etc.

Geopolitical issues are the biggest risk for Airlines.
Also rising oil prices means higher fuel costs.

If this conflict prolongs, then this will go a lot lower.
If a short lived scenario, then IAG will be ok

They have the cash to ride it out

NOW MIGHT FIND IT DIFFICULT TO BREAK THROUGH THE 640p resistence with a risk it falls back towards 585p 1st support

Sell airlines, buy oil and gold shares. IAG shareprice rolling over, even before this Iran news. Thats my view.

Monty get off the beach in Barbados and check out recently listed (TWD), should double this year, a well run company with a great product and strong management, also FOXT,an obvious p,ay for recovery this year, no debt is a major attraction imo dyor as usual.

With IAG , just a strong hold now through 2020

Monty in Barbados,,,hope you are enjoying your break, and hope to see you back with your bullish posts....your absence is obviously causing some distress with the current slump and lack of direction. However, in the New Year I would hope to see a re-rating, after the BALPA settlement and the REALLY low P/E is recognized...the latter is unbelievable against a more positive outlook with huge demand for flights over the coming season. Then we have a strong Dividend policy in place to attract the Institutions and the likes of quite a few PI's....hopefully a good few months ahead at the very least. Good wishes to all posters here...pros and cons...and happy New Year.
