04/3/2019 13:30 | I would look at when delivery of the 777-9 is as it may not be this financial year so the impact could be carried forward. | knowing
04/3/2019 12:53 | not for any good reason as far as I am concerned Alphorn. I think Brexit is causing more chaos than anything and frankly, they need to get it sorted , one way or another. | m1k3y1
04/3/2019 12:44 | Alphorn Yes from record profits and revenue, 50.5c dividend payed in July. A tsunami of negative news suddenly hits the share price, bears paradise at the moment. | montyhedge
04/3/2019 12:44 | LONDON (Agefi-Dow Jones) - Airline International Consolidated Airlines Group overhauled this week-end the confusion caused by the presentation last week of its projections for 2019. IAG says now predict "a decline in cash flow available in 2019 compared to 2018 based on the forecast of a similar operating profit this year to that of 2018 ". This forecast implies an increase in net capital expenditure to 2.6 billion-2.7 billion euros, compared to 2.2 billion euros last year. In a conference call with analysts, IAG had hinted that free cash flow would increase. The IAG action loses 3.2%, at 584 pence. | neilrich
04/3/2019 12:23 | IAG may be hit by the new leasing disclosures??? | alphorn
04/3/2019 12:20 | They said free cash to be lower 2019 due to capex. I suppose ordering the new planes. Market really punishing them today. But companies would die to have IAG free cash flow. | montyhedge
04/3/2019 12:20 | Thanks Monty I normally do . "Free cash flow to equity. In corporate finance, free cash flow to equity (FCFE) is a metric of how much cash can be distributed to the equity shareholders of the company as dividends or stock buybacks—after all expenses, reinvestments, and debt repayments are taken care of" | m1k3y1
04/3/2019 12:12 | Typical over baked reaction. Will be adding this week. share price is practically pricing in Armageddon. | chiefbrody
04/3/2019 11:53 | Best to google it. | montyhedge
04/3/2019 11:51 | Can someone please explain what "equity free cash flow" is. Thank you | m1k3y1
04/3/2019 11:31 | Lufty Fall is technical MSCI Spanish Index tracker funds are forced sellers. Someone said about 300m euros worth of shares, that approximately 50m shares, selling say 5m a day, so 10 days from announcement. Perhaps couple more days of a silly price. Figures were profits and revenue a record, dividend 50.5c. eps 142.5c, sterling eps 126p roughly, so p.e 4.6 on my calculations. On Brexit Walsh said got everything covered. | montyhedge
04/3/2019 10:58 | My view is that the shares are taking a beating due to three factors :- No credible Brexit plan announced Flat future growth Trading on 2 x Book Value (Average trading multiple for airlines) I see little change until the Brexit situation is resolved. | lufty
04/3/2019 10:55 | Some support @580 - otherwise a proper plane crash! | skinny
04/3/2019 10:44 | IAG has guided down free cash flow and raised capex spending to analysts over the weekend.Bit odd ! | brain smiley
04/3/2019 09:22 | Still one thing guys if your long nice special and ordinary dividend on the way, 50.5c, getting paid to wait for these MSCI tracker funds to clear out. | montyhedge
04/3/2019 08:51 | But once they finished should be a very nice bounce. Obviously bears have jump on board has well. | montyhedge
04/3/2019 08:38 | Tracker funds are still force sellers from the MSCI index it's seems, hopefully finished by Friday. | montyhedge |
