Strange IAG hit so much today. It seems investors will never give IAG a proper rating, on fundamentals one of cheapest stocks in FTSE 100.

Looks like the big boys getting stronger, smaller airlines going bust can't compete. Looking at IAG traffic and capacity figures for January, booming.Figures 9 trading days time, hopefully record revenue and profits, surely can't get any cheaper p.e now around 7. The cargo side looking very interesting. Fingers crossed boys for the 28th Feb.

Surely better for the larger stronger airlines. Flybmi customers need to go somewhere.Also maybe some assets to pick up cheap.SP for all airlines may react negatively Monday morning but less competition surely positive

I'm forecasting record revenue and profit for the Finals 28th Feb, I expect dividend up 10%. But I want share buybacks to resume then price coming months 750p easily in my opinion.

I agree about the buybacks Monty but only in the case of IAG because we lose so much in the withholding tax.

They are on a ridiculously low p.e 6.88 historic. Should be even lower on the 28th Feb. Buybacks reduced the number of shares in issue. Buybacks will push this to 775p if they resume.All we know cheapest stock in the ftse100 on fundamentals.Give me buybacks over dividends any day. Dividends you pay tax, buybacks you don't but will increase the shareprice.675p Monday, if the indexes behave.

Had a look at my FT100 holdings and IAG comes in last for div yield. Granted, share price wise its been a sterling performer compared to many another 100 stock.Next to last if you add back the pesky Spanish tax.The div is covered nearly 4 times, when most are around 2.Clearly scope for a large div increase/special div.Hard to see their growth numbers continuing their enormous climb of the last few years.I'd like to see a 25-50% div increase and/or a special div please Willie.

I rather buy IAG on a forecast p.e of 6.5 with a growing dividend, than a company not making money with a high market cap hoping to make money in the future.But IAG great trading share, long or short, no stamp duty, superb.

The way I see things panning out, figures released in about 11 trading days time, they should have a run up to the figures towards the end next week to 675p-680p, figures come out I expect record revenue and profit dividend up 10%, chance of buybacks resuming, that would be a massive bonus if it happened, after figures back to 725p-750p.
Of course all depends how markets behaving. Just my thoughts guys, any other views ?
