16/1/2012 15:22 | agree. I dont see current management taking IGP to the next level in terms of sales / profits in a reasonable timescale (if at all). Therefore, a quick sale at a nice premium would be an acceptable exit. | fft
16/1/2012 15:19 | IT would be great if we gearing up for a take-over. it would be nice to have a large pot of cash, so many bargains about at the moment. PS APHRO has to be gutted, about selling most of his shares. | igoe104
16/1/2012 15:14 | Be interesting to see what happens around the 80p mark as its a very obvious and big hurdle on the chart. On the other hand you'd have expected some of the buying to dry up if it was just people buying on the dip, as the dip has more or less finished. Perhaps there's something afoot. | yump
16/1/2012 15:00 | Hmmmmmm. very nice. | igoe104
12/1/2012 15:33 | they called me after i had registered for there 5 tips. wanted to sell fat prophets tips service for many hundreds a year. after 10 minutes managed to get rid of caller. The same man called again 1 hour later and when i was half way through pointing out he had called me before, he rang off. | fft
12/1/2012 15:26 | Are they one of those that used to phone you with 'investment opportunities', but aren't allowed to anymore. Or have I just been lucky recently ? Used to be quite fun lying to them about managing my own spectacularly successful investments - I remember one of them actually listened to a reccommendation of mine after I'd 'impressed' him. All lies of course - I just picked some random companies that had multibagged, with some credible reasons for my initial investment ! Years ago when I didn't know better I bought 2 shares after being 'reccommended'. Both went bust. Pex was one, forgotton the other. | yump
12/1/2012 15:16 | Galvan are happy to trade and trade their clients money on their analysts' recommendations, with dubious results. Question their motives for promoting any stocks - they'll take a commission every time. They also offer free reports on a couple of stocks, once they've harvested your contact details (possibly via adverts on ADVFN, I can't recall)... O/T rant over! | strollingmolby
12/1/2012 12:29 | galvan research napped IGP for 2012. no price target. just a note stating what they do and growth potential ect. That may be the reason for the spike. Galvan seem to be pretty good at what they do. | pyman
06/1/2012 14:49 | If anyone is looking to sell in large quantity I can put you in touch with who I suspect is the significant buyer and your broker can deal with their broker direct. Email me confidentially via TMF | davidosh
06/1/2012 12:36 | Someone fancies these, they have purchased 112k worth. | igoe104
06/1/2012 08:33 | Aphrodites Looks like you might get your spike, even if you've only got a bit left invested. I think Sod has been watching your investment movements and has just applied his law. Quite a relief to find he's moved on from stalking me for the time being ;-) | yump
06/1/2012 08:30 | igoe Look back at my posts 3026 & 3033 and read again what I believe has been going on in the market. Whoever has been buying stock has probably acquired sufficient stock around the 62p level and exhausted the supply. He has now moved his price up to 70p and will be supplying stock around 72p and will sit on the market to prevent the price from moving higher - short term. Glad I kept a small interest in the share but frustrating that I sold a major part of my holding. But as WJ has said you can only sell a stock like this when there is a buyer! | aphrodites
06/1/2012 01:06 | Beta version of Windows 8 rumoured to be out this month. Wonder if will have any features etc which IGP helped on development of? | rambutan2
05/1/2012 16:52 | IM not complaining, this is the only share going in the right direction for me at the moment, and luckly for me ive got my biggest holding in here. | igoe104
05/1/2012 15:11 | Not exactly active trade-wise, but very sensitive to modest buys. MM's seem to be raising share price pre-emptively to choke off demand. This is in contrast to their more common tactic of spiking it down to hit stops - possibly because they know of limit buy orders that would trigger instead! Perhaps something is known to privileged parties, in which case we shall find out in due course. Last buy was at 70p. | boadicea
05/1/2012 14:44 | Not sure fft but there's been strong institutional demand for the last month. | wjccghcc
05/1/2012 14:40 | pyman Nice company sns. I first mentioned it on this board Oct 09. Its been slow progress but they look to be getting there. Sorry for off topic. Nice rise here today. | billbyrne
05/1/2012 13:12 | whats going on here then ? For the last week or 2 it has been steadily climbing by a penny here, penny there , on no or very little volume. Today is no exception. It was one of the 5 shares tipped by the advfn share tips of 2012 (sponsored by galvan research). | fft
29/12/2011 13:55 | heres a merger for IGP- SNS. Just come accross it. E signatures is the biz. Be nice and complements the security offering .Wish I d found it yesterday as its up 70% today - nearly trading at cash assett value again! | pyman
14/12/2011 10:31 | Thanks Aphro - enjoyed your posts and insights behind the scenes of what MM's upto. | felix99
14/12/2011 08:05 | hope things improve and we see you again soon! merry christmas | pyman
14/12/2011 07:22 | iiCB You echo my own sentiments entirely. I too decided to move on to greener pastures and have reduced my holding over recent months by 75% all at prices above or at 60P. There has been more selling volume over this period than many realise. The buyer is there in the market and I have no idea what he knows that we don't. But while he is there it is as good a time to take advantage of his demand than we have had for some time. But as you say, the lack of liquidity and evidence that the Chairman/CEO and his wife are more interested in his/her own well-being than creating shareholder value has persuaded me to move on to greener pastures. I still hold a modest token so that in the event of the price spiking I shall be able to take advantage. Like you I wish all the remaining holders here good luck with their investment, a very Happy Christmas and hopefully a profitable New Year courtesy of IGP. This will be my last post here as I no longer have sufficient interest in the company for me to follow the excellent research of several posters. | aphrodites
13/12/2011 20:15 | Roger, excellent post "Roger-Lawson - 3 Dec'11 - 15:45 - 2995 of 3038" - thankyou. Parris's comments sadly have put me off a little re-investing in IGP. The share price is too stagnant for my liking, and it almost sounds like IGP wouldn't survive without RP, which then draws major concerns for any investor. The fact the price does so little and the newsflow hardly budges it, again puts off any investment. There is no point having it here for years waiting for a single moment in time when that could be years off. Better to use it on more liquid shares, and assess this again at a later date. Then again, IGP proved quite resilient during market turmoil I remember. Anyway, good luck to all those invested however, hopefully Parris won't screw you all over! | iicb
12/12/2011 14:05 | Hardly seemed worthy of an RNS. Not sure whether its just a share ramp or an attempt to distract us from their executive share-grab scheme. | shanklin |
