Strength of the main indices could be a factor. It does look like there's a possibility of a major breakout, the 250 index perhaps the most promising. Its a very long standing and strong resistance level, although in the world economies there's nothing much to get excited about.

Perhaps its just that everything we could possibly worry about has been worried about for so long that the indices are now primed for small amounts of good news to have disproportionate effects.

For a share which has little market activity, the share price has remained remarkably steady while most other similarly traded AIM stocks would have gone into a gentle (at best) decline.

So, the mystery buyer over the last 12mths has been revealed. And it's a good one, and usually ready to step in (at happy price - last 700k was at 68p) and continue to build stake up to 10%ish...

I think I'm going to have to do some digging on what market penetration IGP are getting in the US and the market potential, because its niggling away at me. If there's another 70% to go at, great. If they've already got 80%, not so sure.

If there's not much left to go at in the US and Russia takes as long as the US (why should it be any quicker ?), it will be a long wait to actually see any significant revenue falling through to profits.

I don't like having mixed feelings about a stock - will post anything I find out.

LL - The lack of significant impact on the share price implies they are essentially matched trades put through the market for record purposes - institutional shuffling of the pack etc.

Just in case anyone hasn't noticed; Trades for just over 900,000 shares have been reported LATE on yesterday's trade report. I don't know why, for the large IGP trades, they never seem to report them at the time the deal was done. They sneak them onto the trade report the following day, as if they hope we're not going to notice, or something ....

Thanks for posting all that info guys. Funny how some companies turn everything they can get their hands on into a PRREG and others like Intercede just quietly get on with the job. Not too quietly for ever though I hope !

That makes 3 companies I've got where the next year looks like a critical transformational year which should be for a large part independent of the economy, because of their USP's.

MyID-enabled version of TouchDown email client protects, encrypts communication on iOS devices

Intercede®, the producer of MyID®, a world-leader in identity and credential management systems, today announced a partnership with NitroDesk the global provider of the No. 1 Exchange ActiveSync? email solution for mobile devices, to provide secure email solutions on iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad, that are compatible with PIV cards.

Building on NitroDesk's market-leading email client, TouchDownTM, and Intercede's proven track record in smart card and credential management, the special MyID PIV-enabled edition of TouchDown offers the ability to easily exchange signed and encrypted emails protected by keys and certificates held securely on a PIN-protected PIV smart card.

Standards based smart cards such as PIV, PIV-I, CIV and TWIC, have become the gold standard of security in U.S. federal government and associated organizations, providing strong authentication of an individual when accessing corporate resources such as buildings or computer systems. While these cards work well on desktop computers equipped with smart card readers, the same security and ease of use benefits are more difficult to deliver on mobile devices, where the siloed approach of smartphone apps does not naturally fit with smart card usage.

The Intercede and NitroDesk partnership makes extending the benefits of PIV card security to mobile devices easy. The MyID mobile credential management libraries embedded into the NitroDesk TouchDown email client make it credential aware, allowing smart cards to be used in a similar manner as on a desktop computer. This enables organizations to provide secure yet simple communications solutions both in the office and in the field using a combination of COTS product and readily available consumer electronic devices.

"Email is the primary method of information sharing for two thirds of organizations but using a non-secured mechanism leaves them open to a range of threats," said Richard Parris, CEO of Intercede. "The bring your own device (BYOD) trend and increased use of consumer devices means securing mobile communications is a challenge many of our customers are looking to solve. By partnering with NitroDesk, our shared expertise delivers a cost-effective, easy-to-use and highly secure solution for mobile communications, enabling organizations to benefit from both improved security and increased efficiency."

Commenting on the partnership, Ron Goins, chief operating officer at NitroDesk said: "The integration of the Intercede MyID technology with the TouchDown client allows government and enterprise customers to maintain the security of their sensitive data while ensuring compliance with their organization's credential management and security policies in a BYOD environment. This is a huge win for those who must meet these requirements, as well as their IT organizations that need to manage the devices and data security."

Notes to editors
• The special version of NitroDesk TouchDown uses embedded MyID mobile credential management libraries to make it smart card aware
• Combined with a smart card reader for iOS devices such as the Tactivo? from Precise Biometrics, the solution works with PIV (Personal Identity Verification), PIV-I (PIV-Interoperable), CIV (Commercial Identity Verification) and TWIC (Transport Worker Identification Credential) smart cards
• The solution enables email signing, encryption and decryption ensuring secure data exchange at-rest and in-transit between known and trusted individuals

Security-focused reseller to take Intercede MyID into Russian market

London, UK, November 28, 2012: Intercede (LON:IGP), the producer of MyID, a world-leader in identity and credential management systems, has signed a partnership agreement with KABEST, a dedicated security division within Asteros Group during the UKTI's Trade Mission to Moscow. Under the partnership, KABEST will resell Intercede's MyID solution in Russia as part of its high-end IT and security systems proposition for the government and public sector, extending Intercede's reach globally.

Intercede was introduced to KABEST by the UKTI. The company signed an agreement with KABEST at the UKTI and CBI mid-sized business Trade Mission to Russia - an initiative aimed at helping UK-based companies make contacts and obtain market intelligence to facilitate business growth in Russia.

Trade and Investment Minister Lord Green said: "Russia is our fastest growing major export market and, with 140 million consumers looking for quality British products and services, it offers great opportunities for British businesses. Important steps such as Russia's accession to the World Trade Organisation are making it easier for British firms to do business there."

Reflecting on the partnership agreement, Richard Parris, CEO of Intercede, said: "KABEST's business is a good strategic fit for Intercede as we continue to expand our footprint across the globe. This year, KABEST has delivered a number of complex projects for Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, TVEL, Chepetsky Mechanical Plant, NCCP, MegaFon, Kazkommerzbank and Unicredit among other clients, mirroring our sector expertise working with government and public sector organizations. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them."

Ivan Burdelo, Technical Director at KABEST, added: "We were really impressed with Intercede's MyID solution. We can see many applications for it including physical and logical access, mobile credential management and national ID schemes, and it fits perfectly within our product portfolio."

John Cridland, Director General, CBI, said: "Mid-size businesses like Intercede are vital to driving economic recovery. For many firms, growth depends on exporting more. This Trade Mission will help companies access opportunities in Russia's fast growing economy."

Lord Green concluded: "Intercede is a great example of a successful UK exporter, continuing to develop and generate sales from overseas markets. The government views the role of small and medium size enterprises as critical to spurring an export-lead UK economic recovery through innovation and entrepreneurship."

The point is that there is no news any different to the trading statement and that has had a while to be digested.

However, they've lined us up for announcements in the second half and for me those will be the crucial factor, particularly as they mention a collection of large bids and seem confident of some of them coming to fruition in the second half. Add on some partnerships in mobile for interest and the year end could be much more positive.

But no chunky revenue announcements in the next few months will turn it into a dead duck, at least as far as my continuing investment is concerned.

If its going to be a medium/long termer, I also want to know the likely total market size, which I've never seen mentioned. Otherwise could be waiting until 2020 only to find that high growth from their point of view means 50% over 5 years or something equally uninspiring.

Or there is the pessimistic possibility (as with some other companies), that the economic problems around the world spread the growth out over years and years. So what in the past could have been 30% a year for 5 years, turns out to be 12% a year until I retire. Which would not be what I call a growth stock.

Appears a bit of price support going on by the main shareholders, as the stock is unborrowable with IG. i.e. it is not possible to short it.

Only other stock i know in that position is the legendary carpetright (p/e of well over 100 and a huge cushion of hot air).

results out.

sales down (although only marginally). Given that most sales generate ongoing maintenance fees which are rising as a % of turnover (AGM question), this can only indicate that new sales are continuing to fall period on period (see posts passim).

And do they really need a cash balance roughly equal to a whole years sales ? What do they think they need it for ?
