'Bing it on

I got a chance to spend some time with The New Bing — which is still in preview as of writing — and my impressions are as broad and far-ranging as Microsoft’s ambitions for OpenAI’s ChatGPT bot.

My first reaction, however, is elation. During a demo with Microsoft, I was walked through some of new Bing’s marquee features. To take advantage of ChatGPT-powered search, users can navigate to a couple of different menus within Bing’s interface.

The first, and probably the most useful, feature that incorporates ChatGPT is “Chat” — a tab located directly next to the bread-and-butter “Search” function, which tells you just how important Microsoft thinks chatbot-enabled search is.

During my demo time, I was shown how Bing’s chat feature is capable of generating different types of content based on different prompts. A query to create a vacation itinerary, for example, generates site-seeing recommendations, airfare, lodging, and even near-future weather forecasts.'

In real-time, you can watch Bing and ChatGPT pull from sources across the internet to create a curated list of recommendations. And before you roll your eyes and call Bing “spicy autocomplete,” let me clarify; the magic of ChatGPT isn’t just in the generative aspect of Bing’s Chat feature, it’s in how the bot handles your query after you’ve already searched.'

'Microsoft's ChatGPT-powered Bing is a revelation, but only if you know how it works.'

Again relevant to us with our new features.

Thanks for that Noujay.

Feeds right into our hands really.

If you remember we have the means and the power!

From a year ago.

Insig AI 'delivered the new ESG scoring tools to CarVal Investors ("CarVal"), the global alternative investment manager. These scoring tools will be used by CarVal to optimise a new line of high yield ("HY") and investment grade ("IG") portfolios based on ESG considerations.

As previously announced, Insig AI will be entitled to annual fees based on CarVal's assets under management raised in connection with the HY and/or IG focused investment pools.

Well no interest this morning except for a roll over from last week by the looks of it.

Still if we can stay still in this climate that's something!

Until results that is!

'We look forward to updating on how we are positioning'"

That is telling us a trading update is coming very soon and what its essence will be.

We had better hope that "how we are positioning", as well as having some fashionable mention of ChatGPT, includes particular reference to "directly under the frequent and sizeable suitcases of cash that should soon start parachuting out of the sky courtesy of the $AUM tie up with CarVal". ;)

Hmm....London AI pioneer draws $5bn price tag.

A rival to Open AI ,Stability AI which creates digital images with a few words of text,is in talks with potential investors about raising funds.
It is based in London.

On the flip side it is being sued at the moment.

Seems they all want to get in on the act.
I don't think we can draw any more conclusions yet.

What I took away from the Goldman Sachs narrative was that software companies have more potential to scale than the hardware companies.... which bodes well.

Taking a slightly different angle on the theme, Pedro Palandrani, director of research at Global X, told ETF Stream headline-grabbing technologies such as ChatGPT are just the tip of the iceberg in the “new heights” being reached by robotics, AI and automation.

“As innovation continues apace, it is no surprise that robotics more broadly continues to grow. In fact, the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) announced last week that North American robot sales hit another record high in 2022, increasing 11% year-on-year to 44,196 robots, valued at $2.38bn.

“This should be further supported by China’s economic reopening, given that the country is the world’s largest demander of robotics.

“In 2023, we expect service robots to surpass industrial robotic sales for the first time ever. This is a result of cheaper robotics and greater dexterity because of improvements in end of arm tooling. While global recession fears loom, strong capex should help these robotics companies across geogr

Sm... Don't all market caps give a lot of upside if they get meaningful news?

I think its worth homing in on the fact the executive CEO sees no reason to invest.
He knows more than anyone overall and if he isn't prepared to put his cash in then why should anyone else?

Don't forget the lessons of OPTI.

Have to admit I’ve been adding but in small chunks. A lot of frustration here and all totally understandable but as church posted the current cap gives a lot of upside IF we get meaningful news.

The drop has been on a small dribble of sells so like I’ve said before quite like the risk reward at current levels.

I’ve averaged down substantially now and will keep nibbling down at these levels as any kind of decent news should see a quick reversal.

I guess if one took part in the rto then you either right it off, or average down it depends on one’s individual view of RB’s financial support to date.
