The only arbiter on the realism/fantasy debate will be the Company - when it speaks !!

As a finishing note for today....unless fresh news...at least there are enthusiastic posters on twitter on INSG.
PJ1 has tried to do his best to be negative over there, too, but it doesn't seemed to have worked!

Because the main Executive Director has not....... If he hasn't invested why should anyone else?

Apologises all for the half message post 1287.
I was using the phone and then was called away and didn't think I had sent it,as it was unfinished.
What I was trying to say was that I have picked up downtrodden stocks before, that have the same characteristics of disillusioned investors.
Very understandable .
I am used to a bit of bitterness...but at least I'm not shorting it!
Often, though,it is because a sector has been out of favour and I step in believing that is about to change.
Clearly, I would only pick them if I thought they had future value.

This one is unusual, I grant you that, because the trend has not really taken off yet here...in the US , yes.

Again, it is common for a stock to drop after float when some of the hype is over.

If I am really honest, I usually run a mile if a company has convertible loan notes, but this one had some favorable points, too, as I have tried to show, which led me to where we are now.

The fact that these have still not had a lot of fresh interest , tells it's own story.

The stock market is frightening at the moment and if you're not frightened by it you ought to be, probably, but also a quarrelsome, negative billboard, can and does influence...I have certainly seen that over the years.

Sure, you all have your own way of looking at things, but it is rarely a single factor that holds a stock back....those that blame management mercilessly, for example aren't always being fair in my book.
Anyway ,once I've got my research out of the way and hopefully new updates appear... I will not post so much,I just like to have a few notes to remind myself of what I've found.

Surely we all want the same thing at the end of the day...a healthy share price and a thriving company?
Why would a director put in so much of his cash unless he had faith?

Well if they do not confirm free cash flow by H2 then where do they go?

Maybe that is why we witnessed the onerous re-negotiated loan terms.

hazl- your response made no sense to me. ''as here''? You mentioned most companies in profit..... INSG is not.....

Leaving apart uncertainties of timing (and any note based on a best guess from 12 months ago would now look silly), they cannot issue a note until the relevant fund is actually launched, or firmly and publically scheduled, otherwise, they would effectively be disclosing commercially sensitive information to Carvals competitors I imagine.

Well, lets see how involved we all feel if the next trading update does not confirm free cash flow by H2 as they hoped.

If future Carval Revenues were on high confidence then INSG would have issued official market forecasts to promote cash flow and save investors from the pain we have. Surely?

They did not.

hazl. most Companies in profit and with good models didn't fall anything like INSG or the market in general. Many have bounced since.

If I do buy into a share I have to feel involved.
It is my incentive to research everything I can about the company and importantly the sector.
If not I lose interest.
Again, I might add, if things perked up or I found something that was unprecedented.
I don't see any point in persecuting the only person who has shown interest personally, but each to their own.

I believe that it is a general malaise in the market, and a general reluctance to go into something speculative.
If you look around, there are plenty of companies,in profit, and with good models which have fallen all around us.

I certainly think,it isn't a time to get over loaded in anything.

I would imagine that generative AI components such as Chat GPT will overlay the Insig data repository and provide a more sophisticated and user friendly search feature. Basically they point it at the repository and clients can easily and quickly interrogate the data sets they are interested in and receive them in a useful format.Speed and time saving seem likely to be at the heart of it so could be experientially transformative in that sense. To what extent that will drive adoption of course remains to be seen, although in the case of their ESG tool/repository it is obviously far more likely to be driven by regulation/reporting requirements.

But that was released on REACH rather than RNS - which indicates it may be helpful but not transformative

Six weeks since last purchase by RB and if the Company ( rather than Hazl) would break radio silence on progress in the last 18 months it would help understand exactly how much mileage there might / might not be here !

Sure I do seem to be the only one new investor, brave enough to take the plunge.

But isn't that often the case after a big drop?

I see this as the future and will be very interested to see how the company I mentioned further back, does at float.

Good luck everybody!

I'm beginning to wonder how much you know about Insig AI.

From INSG latest RNS.

'
Insig AI Generative AI Product Capability

Over recent months, Insig AI plc (AIM:INSG), the data science and machine learning solutions company serving the asset management industry has conducted a series of tests using ChatGPT and other Generative AI models. As a result, we are now able to integrate the latest AI capabilities from Google, Open AI and the most advanced models such as ChatGPT and GPT-3.

We regard the advancement of this type of text based analysis as the ideal overlay to our existing repository of machine readable ESG and corporate data. Combining the deep contextual understanding that ChatGPT brings with our highly focused ESG NLP (natural language processing) classifiers will provide differentiation in surfacing the most relevant ESG disclosures, thereby increasing overall analysis and productivity.

Arguably the grabbiest update for most people will be the integration of the new AI-centric Bing into the Windows 11 taskbar.

For the uninitiated, new Bing fully embraces OpenAI’s inescapable chatbot, ChatGPT, to help expand the utility of search — that includes adding some pretty sophisticated capabilities like generating comparison charts of products, creating vacation itineraries, or even composing “original̶1; copy for social media posts or blurbs on command.

How exactly the integration into the Windows 11 taskbar will function is unclear, but according to a statement from Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer Panos Panay, it will bring pretty much the full suite of ChatGPT-powered Bing’s capabilities to Windows users.

“Soon hundreds of millions of Windows 11 users can get access to this incredible new technology to search, chat, answer questions and generate content from right on their Windows taskbar,” said Panay in a statement. “And we have simultaneously enhanced the taskbar by implementing a typable Windows Search box so that all your Search needs for Windows are in one easy-to-find location.”
