Wilko paid out a total of £77 million to the owners and former shareholders of the stricken retail chain in the decade before its collapse. https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-12400033/Wilko-paid-77m-owners-collapse.htmlThats fact. The company had £100m assets and over £50m cash a decade ago and was driven into the ground whilst the owners took huge dividends even while the company lost millions year on year destroying the balance sheet. No correlation at all...weird to even try to make one. Seems the owner manager here is putting cash in to drive it forward not strip money out.Perhaps you need to form opinion using relevant and genuine facts.

the Wilkinson family invested all they had. Fact

The demise came from market pressures and trying to grow by investing in bad Managers and strategy. Any correlation?

Maybe you could explain simply what the INSG strategy is, as nobody on this BB, including me, has a clue what it currently is?

''Last chance saloon''?

Disclaimer. All the above is in my opinion only.

Brilliant even by your standards.

Let’s break it down.

They’ve been paid in shares which basically incentivises them to perform and if as you say there’s no money INSG goes bust and the shares are worthless?

Roger parry and john Wilson are massively respected businessmen - they don’t even need the shares I’d suspect. However they’ve chosen to be associated with INSG (would you if as you say they are skint?)

My understanding is Roger has had a lot to do with progress already with no remuneration.
Have you done anything to progress INSG or spread the investment word in a positive manner?

The guys do not need the cash and would not jeopardise hard earnt reputations for just anyone or anything.

As for the wilko’s comment - a dying high street brand in an online market place versus a leading edge AI business breaking barriers?

Not exactly like for like.

Oh and the family that owned Wilkinson’s could have put some of their own cash in like rb if they believed in the brand and the business model!

Just out of general interest. Does anyone here actually know if John Wilson, Roger Parry and Gareth Evans are gamblers or not?

Does anyone actually know how much time they will be inputting in to INSG bearing in mind that the market average NED commitment is 6 hours per month?

Would you have invested in Wilco after they admitted they could not pay their staff?

Just curious.

Payment in shares proves to me it's boom or bust.... I think that is now the bottom line, its a binary gamble... investment has gone out of the window as the fundamentals, and unbiased private investors say this has more chance of going to zero than appreciating from here. I have quickly read through 150/212 pages and see that the number of sustainability funds have been increased to over 600.The Fca also specify that fund managers will have to undergo continuous training specifying the number of days depending on the size of the fund. This is a very significant number and an area for Insig to tackle. My initial thoughts are that Insig is going to benefit greatly from the new regulations.

For those who like reading the finer detail about the FCA's greenwashing proposal.

I did a quick scan and it seems the FCA's DD will be 'in-house' whatever that means.......

I think the skill set he brings can be seen in his company page on website..as well as bringing the company better to the attention of the investment community , he also has an extensive network of wealth management contacts that might well be potential customers i guess?https://progressive-research.com/people/
