And there is the key hazl, thanks for posting

''and Bernstein likely thinks he will get his money back (and more are my expectations)''

Hence the averaging down, ''to get his money back''?

I look to the wider view for some of the answers.
I appreciate that some will not understand this concept.

This is not an established industry.
We are talking about a very new cutting edge process which has been/is going through changes.
There is a revolution of sorts with AI believers, experts, those that understand AI but are beginning to question it and those that love it and a whole spectrum in between.
Then ESG.
There are already highbrow papers devoted to it.
If we know this, then Insig management know this, and Bernstein likely thinks he will get his money back and more are my expectations.
An example.....from just July.

Abstract

The integration of GPT 3.5, an advanced language model, with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria has the potential to revolutionize the investment industry by providing accurate and relevant information to investors. This study explores GPT 3.5's capabilities in responding to ESG-related prompts and its applications in ESG investing. By developing an ESG classifier module, GPT 3.5 can identify relevant ESG factors for companies, enabling investors to make informed decisions aligned with their values. The module also allows analysis of industries' ESG performance, aiding in selecting sustainable and socially responsible investments. Following the data collection, cleaning, and analysis, the results reveal a 20% dependence of stock returns on ESG-related news, leading to the development of a tool that tracks this relationship, complementing quantitative strategies and facilitating ESG-informed investment decisions. This research showcases GPT 3.5's ability to generate accurate responses to ESG prompts, emphasizing the importance of high-quality training data. The study also contributes to the growing literature on AI in ESG research and presents a framework for future investigations. The integration of AI with ESG criteria holds promise for improving decision-making in investments and promoting sustainability and social responsibility practices. '

Now despite this we are living in unusual times.
Countries have become nationalistic.
We are sadly at war.
There are companies going to the wall.
They are just trying to survive.
Some will fail.
So am I surprised that INSIG hasn't announced lots of contracts?
No not really.
No man is an island.
Would I expect that to continue?
No.
This company has been supported by the authorities, in their awards and financially by Bernstein at least.
Why ?
As churchharbour intimates it won't be like this for ever,
these people see opportunity...delayed maybe but opportunity nevertheless and some things are lIkely worth waiting for.

Heck I could be wrong we could all be wrong.
We all have different personalities and those come out more in times of trouble.
So each to their own and DYOR.

IMO

Why someone would hold a share of a company where they have NOTHING but contempt for the management.

Something seriously wrong in your head bully boy pj.

I cannot recall the BoD here promising 'projects', or referencing 'projects' at all before......?? Can you?

And

A project is also singular...

As JJ rightly keeps asking, where are the 'contracts'?

Church

I’d say it’s a tad more than that.

Pj - a contract is singular - a project implies a longer term relationship to me. But each to their own.

I’m no expert far from it I’ve lost a fortune on some things and done ok from others.

I think experience of being bitten helps, but not as much as meeting the guy you are backing and listening to them speak and understanding their addiction to success.

PJ - if you submit your CV to the Company there's just an outside chance they might make you CEO :: COO and FD !Personally I would rather stick with RB who by now has probably invested £3.5 million invested of his own wealth

The same reason he's been averaging down for so long is my guess. Off course please predict what my next post will be with you being such an expert. It's clear to me things are not right here. The BoD have yet to hit any target they have set to themselves. Please enlighten me if they have? All the above is in my opinion only. (!!!!!!!)So shrewdie. Why a project and not a contract? Weren't we promised recurring contracts at some previous point in time?

Been waiting with anticipation for that post all day.

If the shares are worthless as you would have us believe why has rb taken shares in lieu of £750k of hard cash?

Rather than jump for joy over this deflection RNS where they never sold the sport business in their previous timescale, i prefer to refer to the now 11 % dilution (plus future options?) RTO stakeholders have suffered, and by omitting a trading update that they have yet again failed to hit another of their internal targets and have not reached ' operational break even' as they assured they would. In my Opinion they are not funded for their current strategy and whilst burning cash the risk of further dilution or debt is substantial. I query why they have not updated us fully in reference to the above. I look forward to being educated as to why it's a 'project' and not a contract? Is this hidden confirmation that we have Constructed a data base that dues not fit

Yes, you have to speculate as to whether or how much the precise timing of this RNS was predicated by a desire to do the formerly 35p CLN conversion at a lower rate before the big news came in, rather than pure co financial requirements.

The other CLNS having conversion options at a lower rate already set up of course, so no need there.

Either way it has to be one of the largest single director buys ever on the AIM.

Level 2 is 6v1
Last auction someone was bidding up for 50k lumps

Aim all share bounced off the bottom.

Could the timing be about right for once.

Sometimes proves to be best.

Banshee I am very happy the convertible loan note has gone
holds companies back sometimes.

Seems to be moving in the right direction...disposal of non core assets which will extend the cash runway , tidying up the outstanding convertible with Chair taking stock at 20p. Further signs of commercial traction. Still think one needs to watch where the FCA are here as a significant tightening of regulations is in train. We could see a quickening in corporate adoption in and beyond the fund management industry in the first half of next year. Currently consultation but soon to be implemented.https://www.fca.org.uk/publications/corporate-documents/strategy-positive-change-our-esg-priorities
